She is da bomb!!!!!!!!! I took her class last fall and everyone got A :) Very nice and helpful. Her singing voice is like an angel. Awesome singer! But the thing is, she passed away this year and so sad that I cannot see her anymore....I was very shocked when I heard her news....so sad..Best music teacher of my whole life EVER!

College Chorus. It's an easy A. All you need to do is come to class and sing. There are about 3 performances that are mandatory but I think she still gave A's to the people that didn't show. A real good class to take if you need a filler class or to bring up your GPA. No tests & homework except remember songs-but thats simple. Teacher is nice too.

She rocks. I really, really like her. She takes a genuine interest in her students' life and she's just awesome. She works me really hard vocally and is making me sound great. She's so bomb, definitely take any of her classes.

GREAT PROFESSOR! She makes you think of the world of music in a totally different perspective. There are quizzes that are slightly difficult but you just need to read the book. Going to class is not mandatory but it helps a lot. Make sure you have time to go to 4 concerts within the semester. Very approachable and enthusiastic about music.

Quizzes are difficult, but gives lots of extra credit. 4 Concert reports (3 extra credits), & the presentation/research paper (about your own ethnicity) will take some time to complete. I would recommend that you take only this class because the concerts,reading,final presentation/paper will take a while to complete. She is approachable and available for her students. She is a very energetic and caring professor but she has high expectation of her students. She requires way too MUCH extra class work.I had to attend to five concerts through out the semester, which is very hard if you work and go to school full time. The concerts are pain to go because the schedule is all over the place.Too demanding for 100 level

She's the most seemingly non-intimidating teacher I know, and yet, if necessary, she has the ability to silence a class of more than 40 people just by staying silent herself! :D She's a brilliant instructor who understands and loves music with all her heart, and is determined to pass on this kind of knowledge and joy to her students.

She's VERY energetic! Her enthusiasm keeps me up in class! Her tests aren't too difficult, you just have to listen to her lectures. She also has her lectures posted online! You have to write 3 reaction papers for music performances such as classical concerts or plays, make sure you do those!

Lina Doo is one of the best teacher at KCC. She is very nice and funny. This class had a lot of things to do though.
