We went from meeting in person to online because of COVID-19. The professor was decent before the virus however, after the going online he did not meet on zoom unless you "needed help". Which totaled 4 calls in weeks of being online. He did not explain anything after going online. Just posted the assignment and expected you to learn the info

Comment:

Dr Horn is the the BEST in the department. He is always helping his students out and always helping through his office hours and actually helps you. Class is easy, he tries to make it understandable and relatable. His assignments aren't tough. He is the real MVP, everyone one else in the department sucks but him.

Dr Horn is probably the best professor in the department. Clear grading criteria with projects that aren't tough. He knows his stuff and makes lectures fun.

Such a great class. 1 paper, 2 exams, and a simple nature/nurture debate. You can use a notecard (front/back) for both exams, so it's on you if you don't do well. He's such a nice guy, incredibly knowledgeable, and funny. Gives points back for "unclear" exam questions. Take this class as an exercise science master's elective.

Dr. Horn is extremely knowledgable and very helpful. His lectures are always fun and he keeps you interested at all times. One of the best professors I have ever had. And he is very very hot!

Dr. Horn is extremely knowledgeable. He is also very helpful and an excellent professor. He engages the class and makes the material practical. He gives out powerpoints, no textbook, and allows you to use one flashcard for the mideterm and final. The tests are very much like the pp. Go to class, participate, and you'll do well.

Great teacher. I took him in the summer for Basic Motor. Class was alittle difficult but that was because there was so much information in a short period. I have trouble keeping focus for longer then 30 minutes but I had him for 2 hours and he kept me engaged the whole time! Great professor & good looking. If you havbe the chance, take him!!!

Dr Horn is the man! Motor learning is all about practical tips and research on teaching skills to kids. Tests are fair and he gives comprehensive review sheets and helps answer any questions you have, along with allowing a note card for the test.No need to buy book if you print notes out and listen during class. One of the best classes at MSU.

Awesome teacher. Will help you as much as you need. I have never seen a professor care about his students more than Dr. Horn. His class is a blast, with his fun style of teaching and great interaction with his students. By far, in the top 3 for best professors I have ever had. Just a great guy all the way around.
