She is the worst teacher I have ever had. You can't understand what she is saying very heavy accent and if you ask her to repeat anything she yells at you. She does very poorly at explaining things. When she is giving lecture she will just write everything on the board and expects you to know what she did. O and lots of work online.

the semester i had her i wound up having to take 3 finals in one hour, WE arranged to take her final EARLIER, the day BEFORE the final she went back on her word and told me i couldn't do it because it was a "group test" i get there and the "group" was my class, from that i missed two finals. if i hadnt taken pre-clac in hs i wouldve failed.

This teacher is BY FAR THE WORST TEACHER I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE!!!!!!! She knows nothing about math it's not even her major. At least half of my class dropped it or stopped going. It's impossible to understand her. She yells at students who ask for help for way too long.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! I warn you! I asked for help, she told me that her office hours were always open and when I went, she was never there and when she was, she was unwilling to help. She is super hard to understand, which is not helpful to the learning of math, an already complicated subject. I warn you again, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!

She is a horrible teacher, I always follow the ratings on this site, had I known about it prior I would not have signed up for her class. She is the worst teacher I have ever had. I can't beleive she has a job with the way she treats her students!

I was stupid enough to ignore all the warnings on here saying DO NOT TAKE A CLASS WITH THIS TEACHER! I now feel like repeatedly slamming my head against a wall for being so incredibly stupid! Hard to understand her, gets angry when you ask questions, cannot seem to grasp the fact that you have to EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM for students to understand it!

Thistle is a very unprofessional teacher.She yells at students on numerous occasions. She calls her students "SLOW",and "Junior High Kids".She is good at belittling students as well. She told one student to her face,"You have no skill". Her accent is not understandable and her handwriting is not legible. Her degree is in Religious & Cult studies.

She is rude and disrespectful. She announced to the class that my friend had a 'health problem' because she was pregnant. She wastes time yelling at unruly students by repeating herself thousands of times. She puts homework up on webassign and makes it due at random times during the day and doesn't tell the class so I ended up with zeros on hw.

Wow. Thistle is TERRIBLE. Students correct her in class all of the time. Wastes so much time in class. ...It's such an easy class, no hw but, she's really not worth it. haha she's just so awful.

Thistle is such a nice lady. She understands english perfectly (she is a little hard of hearing, I think) and can write it just fine, and sometimes her subjects and verbs don't agree. Come to class, volunteer and do the homework. I sat right up front and took notes every day and did fine. I think she is a great teacher.

My inherent math ability was what gave me an A+ in her class. What others have said, accent is horrible, she belittles students, makes plenty of mistakes, etc. She gives plenty of extra credit though...my attendance gave me 10 extra points on the final.
