This Prof has changed a lot. She used to give extra credit, utilize power points, provide links, and test reviews and chats. Discussion forums required at least one response. All of this has changed. She does the bare minimum possible. I would not have taken this class if I had been aware of this. She is padding her pastor's salary1. Very sad.

I loved this class. it was not easy and the cases in the book will come up in some exams and discussion so make sure you actually read them. Prof Brown is very organized and provides you with everything you need for each module. I love the chats. It was new to me ( taken several on line classes) but found them interesting. Great teacher and fair.

Good teacher, although the online chat sessions were mandatory and that was a bit annoying. I took an online class in order to do the work on my own time, not have mandatory chat sessions on Sunday and sometimes mondays to attend.

Awesome instructor. Took the class online. Her projects are interesting and fun. She has mandatory chats but they are very informative. Prof. Brown is super organized and so extremely helpful. I wish she taught all of the LGS classes that I need. Her expectations are clear. Her tests are hard so study up, but she is really fair.

Class was good, but challenging. Make sure you do all assignments, participate in all chats, and study hard ahead of time for tests. Tests were challenging, but you can pass if you study. Criminal Justice is my passion so class was interesting but tough.

This teacher is not helpfull, and grades extremely hard. Even if the whole class is failing she doesn't care to address anything. You can even got to her and she is still not helpfull. I would never take her online class!

I would not recommend this class to anyone that has trouble with writing. Prof. Brown give you a little bit of help when doing a paper. Her feedback does help a little.She also has you turn in a paper every other week. If you have trouble writing, I would not recommend taking Prof. Brown.

Prof Brown's online class is easy as long as you READ! If you dont do the readings or read the directions to the assignments you will not pass. Gives extra credit, 3 assignments, 3 tests, &3 chats. Tests-expects you to know info verbatim. kind of arrogant.

Took her for an online class. Her teaching method and what is asked of the student is clear. Many in the class did not feel that way but it was their inability to stay focused. I completed every task that was asked of me. Each task, including the reading is a building block. Tests are based on readings. She is not a gotcha teacher. I'd take her agn

Didn't like her that much. She was funny but was really mean to a girl in my class. The assignments were sometimes a bit unclear and textbook was used really sporadically considering how expensive it was.

Prof Brown has been the best lecturer I've had thus far! I would take all my classes with her if i could. She's interesting, engaging and really knows the material. The work isn't easy but she's a GREAT resource. I'd say she's found her calling!!!

Online class. Complete failure to teach. Entire class was (1) attend useless chats and (2) somehow memorize the book. Does not answer questions. Tests included many confused questions and confused/wrong answers. Test questions were inappropriate for the material. She does not seem to know the subject matter well.
