Selin is the best professor I have had here at UWEC. He is also the toughest. This class should be a 4 credit class, so he flies through material. If this really is his last semester, you've missed out. Simply one the best.

Selin is an EXCELLENT professor that cares so much for all of his students! He will go above and beyond to be available during office hours and even out of office hours. Acct 301 is simply a difficult class, but Selin does everything he can to help. I could have studied more to be honest.

He is a great teacher, very helpful if you ask questions in class or go to his office. It is a very hard class but you learn a lot. Be sure to get a huge binder for all your notes and try to keep them in order, it makes studying a lot easier.

Selin is the oldest & most dedicated professor at UWEC. Always willing to help & prepares you for the CPA. Highly recommend taking the class with a friend so you can work through it together. Also, the 3-hour night exams can be fun if you bring food. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Make sure you can do all the HW on your own before each test.

An all around great guy. He will make you learn the material. There will be times you want to pull your hair out, but at the end of the day you will be so relieved to be done with the class. He absolutely loves the accounting field and he helps share his excitement. Take him while he's still around!

Selin is hard, but I feel prepared for the CPA because of his class. Be willing to put in a lot of time studying, ask questions when you don't understand, and actually do the homework, don't just copy it off the sheets. Do the extra problems too.

I took both Dr. Selin's intermediate courses in 1985/86 and he was the best accounting professor at the time. Glad to see that he is still making the course challenging as I feel that is how you learn the most and what he teaches is very useful for the CPA exam and later.

Very nice man but i dont like how you have a 50 min class and he can make you come and take a 2+ exam every other week on a day with no class. it seems to me that it more about getting through all the info instead of helping us learn it. curved grades otherwise everyone would fail. Study Study Study all day everyday for this class
