Comment:

The actual theme of this course is extremely boring. If you do not buy the textbook, you will not be able to reference her reading responses. She loves to give you a hard time over APA citation's, exam's seem almost half put together with many typo's & 'trick' questions. If you want a fairly easy average mark, do the work & you'll get that.

Comment:

This class is a mess and should not be a required class in Kin. Roz has unrealistic high expectations and marks hard if your views don't align with hers, so much for the "diversity" aspect of the class. The grading is very inconsistent and the assignment instructions are really vague. Worst class I have taken, hopefully it changes in the future.

Comment:

Roz does amazing work in her research and in the community. In her classes, she pushes students to think critically, and some students will find this difficult. Participate, take notes during discussions, do the assigned readings, and make sure you understand the concepts - even if it requires extra research. You get what you put into her classes.

I expected kin 420 to be about diversity in sport but the title is misleading. It is basically a gender studies class with very little reference to sport. Roz is also very close minded and she marks papers based on how well the papers align with her political views. Would not recommend.

Classes are long and based on participation, not a good thing if you have social anxiety. Kinda full of herself, only good thing is that she actually makes you think about the content

The course name is extremely misleading. After reading the catalog entry for the class, I understood this class to be about SPORT and LEISURE. It is instead purely Sociology and Feminism. Material is okay, but I expected an entirely different class. Would not take again if had the choice.

This class was difficult because the content is difficult. Students who can't think and just need to regurgitate info will not like Roz and her teaching. High expectations for students in her class.

worst prof ever, does not help you to understand anything. Very annoying attitude constantly says"love it" in her annoying giddy voice. Text book is useless buy the can copy, it is cheaper. Very rude no respect for anyone who is not a jock. If you are confused good luck she will never help you out.

Roz is hilarious. KHS 100 is ridiculously boring and is unfortunatly mandatory for KIN students. She does not make the class interesting, as she does is bring in speakers to talk to us every week. I like her as a person but not much as a prof.

Roz, Roz, Roz... either you love her or you hate her. She usually knows what she's talking about but she is sometimes very frustrating. She was only teaching one class this semester and she was so busy with other suff that she put the class on the sidelines and it was hard to get ahold of her

Unbelievable. Once again, the Kin department has shown how weak and uneducated their staff is. Roz is the second worst "instructor" I've ever had. Her class was pointless, tedious and boring. Stop being so god damned arrogant and actually teach something Roz. AVOID HER AT ALL COSTS. Not attractive, stop rating her so high.

Easy class, the only thing you have to work for is midterm and final. Assignments were simple and group work was not a lot of effort. Not hard to get over an 80 in this class.

Roz is decent except that in her lectures she goes on and on and you don't know what the important parts of the information are. Then when you get to her tests she quizzes you on very small details. She also marks the main project hard. Good but not great proffesor

I would never take another class from her ever again! feel sorry for those that have to, if you got one, getit changed asap!! i could talk about her forever, but 350 characters is just not enough.
