she was the worst, not understanding, made a printer required for the class. I am all As student and i ended with 84 in the class. I taught myself everything, and i am a horrible at math. SHE NEEDS TO GET FIRED. PERIOD. HORRIBLE TEACHER. AND EVEN WORST OF A PERSON.

Comment:

I took professor Mccurdy and she is not a good teacher. Is very rude when you ask questions during class. She's that teacher that will tell you to look at the textbook. We had 5 exams which are made up of 86 percent of the entire grade in the class. 14% per regular test, and 30% of the final exam. So much homework which makes up 7% of the grade.

Unbelievably rude professor. She is not interested in teaching and she repeatedly stated "y'all should already know this!" She even locked the doors to the classroom sometimes and wouldn't let late people in until she felt they had been adequately humiliated.

will spend the entire class rambling. when you ask her question about the material she'll berate you for not already knowing the material or forgetting something from a previous class. her class was the first college math course I didn't make an A in. it was so bad I dropped her course and I will be taking it with a different professor.

Sandra is by far one of the WORST professors in the math department. ( This is my second ever math course here at San Jacinto College and while a pandemic which is infecting hundreds and has already killed over 200,000 Americans this professor has the nerve to issue so much work. She believes her students have a ton of free time. Horrible lady.

My English is no good so I use translate. She is not a great cal 1 professor as she rather issue paper loads of work rather than take time to teach ig to make sense of what we are learning from her. She also does not allow calculator use on some exams and homework assignments. I hope she change her ways.

This professor had the gut to still give TONS of work during the COVID-19 break out when the college was shut down. Many of us could not go to work and were all in tough situations. Instead of laying off the excess of work she assigns even more work. Making them due at 12pm. WORST professor ever. NO extra credit either. DROP her class or suffer.

She passed an attendance sheet once class starts and everyone must sign in to be counted present. Too much work especially during the Covid-19 peak where everything shut down. She is not the best mathematics professor at san jac south. She makes me want to vomit.

Being a sophomore in high school I am glad that i passed with an A college algebra. I was late to enrollement this semester and she was the only choice. I now understand why she was the only choice. Not a great experience at all. Infact i have been in dual credit at Clear Horizons since my freshmen year and she has been the worst profesor so far.

Every day I went to her class I literally had to pull out my binoculars in order to try to understand what it is she is writing down on the board. some times she even forgets to teach us things that are on quizzes / exams. Not a good experience at all.

This class has taught me to check who my counselor chose for me. My counselor told me that he knew she was a great professor. But was he wrong very wrong. The work is excessive and repetitive. Lectures are not helpful either. Thanks to help from tutors I managed to pass with a B. But I was close to withdrawing from this class.

Thanks for issuing so much work during a global pandemic that is affecting each and every single one of us. Thank you for making assignments due at a certain time ( the time when class usually ends). Thank you for showing that you do not care about your students. Way to go.

Attendance is mandatory as she will pass around an attendance sheet for students to sign in. Her work load is ALOT be aware that if you chose to take her calculus class you will have a a lot of work to do. Both in class and homework. Her lectures are not that helpful. I had to get a lot of help from tutors at the college. Overall not a good class

Professor McCurdy has got to be one of the toughest/ rudest professors Ive ever met. She is very condescending. Im surprised she hasnt retired. Her lectures & exam reviews do NOT prepare you for the gruesome exams. She is bad at replying to emails & does not consider that students are failing due to her poor teaching. NEVER would take take again

Her classroom setting was not Appropriate. Her class room was located right next to the basketball court inside the gym building. I found it very hard to concentrate when you could literally hear shoes squeaking, basketballs bouncing off the floor and other noises. Other than that The professor was not that good either.
