Every week you will have a quiz a project videos to watch and questions it is very easy just dont wait till the last minute or you wont have time. LOG YOUR HOURS on everything except for projects. If you have a chrome book he can help you with the projects since they need windows to operate. If you get stuck lots of answers are online.

Comment:

Online class-no lectures. A large amount of work, tests, projects but doable. I spent about 5-8 hours per week. The few times I had problems he got back to me quickly by email and was helpful. Earned his paycheck and helped me learn a lot too! Highly recommended :)

Professor McLeod is a phenomenal professor, and I don't use that term lightly. I've had him for three previous classes, with this one being my fourth, and he is an absolute rock star. Helpful, funny, caring are just a few adjectives that describe this professor. Take any and every class he teaches, you will not be disappointed, trust me.

This professor was awesome. It is a computer class, so obviously having a computer is useful. I took this during the Winter 6 week course, and yes there is alot of homework and projects. But honestly, they're pretty fun if you're semi familiar with computers. The different programs are pretty cool and also he is very understanding and responsive.

Comment:

Mr. McLeod is an awesome professor, hands down. I have taken him for both CIS 72A (Intro to Webpage Creation) and 72B (Intermediate Webpage Creation), and his classes are a blast. Biweekly assignments that include videos and some mini-quizzes, super simple. I learned a great deal from him. Accommodating and personable. Take ALL his classes!

As I only have taken this prof online - I think he is a fantastic instructor. His online lectures are not at all exciting, however, he explains everything in detail - if you do this, this will happen. He has an example for everything he teaches - which is what I think most online instructors always miss, but now him.

Professor McLeod was very flexible to provide me with a chance to makegood a Midterm I missed by mistake during the holidays. My score was fairly adjusted to account for my being late submitting the test. It was hard to keep up with the assignments but overall I enjoyed the class very much. I look forward to taking another class tought by him.

I took his 72B online class and his lectures/ project videos were very old and outdated: he was using Netscape browser on a Windows Server 2003 computer to introduce advanced css. The project guide and instructions were way too detailed. You will find yourself reading overly detailed pages of instructions to make just a few edits to the html/ css.

He is a great instructor. He is so laid back, I thought I might have to check his pulse. If you can't handle his class, then you are in trouble. He is very clear on what he wants you to do. Just do the work and you will be fine. Really cool guy. I learned a lot from him. No complaints at all. I highly recommend him.

I Would of liked to actually learn something. He is confusing and might know it because he gives you a lot of breaks in your grading. I would rather learn that be graded easily, especially in a class that is the prerequisite foundation for the rest of your major classes! I got a B and I didn't learn much more than I already knew before taking this.

He is a very good professor. All Answers for the Blackboard tests are online. Feels like a lot of work but is not at all! The lab hours are easy to complete due to having to do assignments in Lab.

Scott Mcleod is not a great teacher. he is very boring, monotone personally. I would not wish his class on my worst enemy. If you just want to take his class just because, then go for it, but if you want to learn real CSS take another teacher.

Boring in class! He tells you what you need to know for the tests, projects and homework. I could've done the 16 week class in 4 weeks and been fine. There's a quiz every week and they're time consuming if you're looking up ever answer in the book (which is what I did). Its an easy A if you know how to use the index in your textbook.
