Awful teacher!! Great guy, but he does NOT explain questions asked AT ALL. He messes up his math all the time, and he puts questions on the test that are poorly worded and/or that we have never done up to that point. Extremely frustrating teacher.

Ok let's face it, Stats is a garbage course. But what a bunch of whiners! Dr. Chadha is very nice and really wants students to learn and succeed. So he doesn't spoonfeed, big deal. Some people are babies. He doesn't collect hw (ever) so the exam/quiz points REALLY count. Not always good at explaining. But curves. An 85 in an A-.

He is a sweet guy most of the time. I'm not that strong at math, and the big issue I have with him is if you tell him you need help, he tells you that he can't help you because he already taught you how to do it. Overall, the quizzes and exams were not hard. Just pay attention and you should do just fine. I passed the class easily by doing so.

No words can describe how awful this teacher is. You can't understand him, he doesn't explain anything, ever. You will learn nothing, and you will lead a terrible life after having this professor. DON'T TAKE HIM!!

Hard to understand because of accent, but not incomprehensible. Doesn't explain math in a way that makes sense. You have to teach yourself the material in order to do well. Wonderful outside of class, but can be very rude and belittling inside of class.

Sweet guy, but not very good at explaining what he is teaching. Class was very confusing for me a lot of the time. Almost every day our class had to correct something he was writing on the board.. If you need stats, try to get a different professor.

Goes over problems in class, but is difficult to understand because of his accent. Frequently gets answers wrong and students need to correct his mistakes because he doesn't notice them. He wants the work done his way, regardless of the answer or how you have learned how to do it in previous math classes.

I had him for calculus and liked his style of teaching, so i took him again for stats. Big mistake. He definitely teaches this class differently and doesn't really explain anything well enough for you to actually understand! I love math, but I hated his class.

Class is fine, old fashioned. He takes a long time to do anything involving technology, calculators take him long enough so don't expect him to respond to emails. Grading scale is lowered (85% is an A-). Boring class, quite a bit of work.

Just a complete jerk. Never responds to emails, doesn't have grades posted like every other teacher I had, and caused my GPA to plumit. I have NEVER gotten a bad grade in my life until his class. If you have the choice, do not take his class.

If you pay attention,do the work, and take notes the class is not that hard. He is not a horrible professor or anything. When it comes to asking him for help, he sometimes seems to get angry and thinks that you should not need help. Some of the things he says or does are funny and overall he is not a horrible professor, Ive had much worse ones.

This is a really hard class. Even though he goes over all of the material in class, he throws curve balls on the assessments and makes them really hard. Luckily, he curves grades. He is kind of intimidating and not very approachable, but he is mostly a good professor.

Not helpful at all. When we would do problems in class if we asked a question about how to do something he would tell us not to worry about it, or that he would explain later, which he never did. Then we would be tested on it the next day without going over the concept.

Chadha wasn't very helpful. He rarely answered emails, even when I was asking him to give me the problems he had assigned or if I had a question about my grade. He was intimidating to ask questions of and his grading rarely made sense. I wouldn't recommend this class.

Very nice guy and I really liked his way of teaching. I think he explains things well (as soon as you get past the Indian accent). His tests usually aren't too bad.

Prof Chadha is an adorable little man and keeps it interesting during class. Some of the lessons are hard but I think he goes through enough examples to give a good idea of what's going on. Worksheets, quizzes and test are pretty predictable. I was scared to go into this class because it's the "most failed" at EC, but received a decent grade! :)

Comment:

Chadha is an extremely nice guy. Very funny and easy going, and adorable! I did not think he was disrespectful at all. His accent is thick, but he answers any questions you have and he does NOT laugh at them. He is a very smiley man, and quite funny!
