The lectures are amazing. His exams are stuff of fear. The class starts out very easy and amalgamated. The harder exams which are extremely difficult occurs about 3/5 of the way. In the end, people do okay. An epic quest for chemistry knowledge? Do a table for the unknown substance research project.

Crystal clear lecture & lab. Works with you. Very friendly & open. Exams, however, don't match homework or SIs except for one question which is word by word from the HW. If he could do a practice test with class you would know what to expect. That is really the only flaw. HW and SIs don't prepare u for test but hint as if they did.

He is very helpful and explains well, very well. Of course you have to study but everything he explains, comes in the exams. nothing from else where. I only studied his notes and didn't even read the book. His labs are very easy, the mid term and final lab is open book. The lecture final is a piece of cake. If you get B, You will get an A in final

He is a good teacher, but had to repeat this course at another college. His class is hard, and his exams are hard. He is not easy grader. Do not take him if u have more three classes. He is clear in both lecture and lab.

Words cant express how great Mr Nowinski is .i would say he's the best chem teacher. I've had him in chem110&102and i got an A in both classes . Yes his tests are hard but not impossible to get anA . Professor Nowinski is the Best without a doubt. he explains very well, he makes you understand the material he is asking for. absolutely take all his lecture notes. His A starts from 85 which i a piece of cake i think. 40% of his tests are from SI's and the homework. He does extremely great work. Thus, he expects you to work hard as well. The Bestt

Hardest class I've ever taken!!! Do the homework and SI more than once in order to do well on his tests. My test average was 70% and still somehow managed to get a B in his class. He his the best at teaching but his tests are HELL!! You will learn a lot

Professor Nowinski's lectures are always on point. He is very helpful in terms of clarifying any questions you may have. He is organized in whatever he does. However, lecture attendance is a must because many test problems come from things he emphasizes during lecture.

One of the BEST chemistry professors at GCC. Teaches REALLY well and is extremely helpful. If you're looking for an easy A, forget it. If you care to learn then take him. Never miss class. Tests are hard but if you know everything in his notes you'll do fine. I aced every test from studying notes, doing hw, and attending class.

He explains things VERY well. If you don't understand: ASK. He lectures EXACTLY what you will be tested on. His writing is very organized and if you take good notes and strive to understand you will ace the class. He's a little odd, but very nice and likable. He doesn't respond well to stupid questions, but don't take it personally. I recommend him

He is a really good teacher....i had to take chem like 3 times..and when i took him i understood very well! His quizzes and tests got to me, but all you have to do is listen to his lectures and take all the notes, study before exam and you'll get it! GREAT TEACHER!
