As an older student, Dr. Lloyd is pretty interesting. I can see how freshmen would find her monotone and boring but she has a lot of interesting things to say. You have 10 1-paragraph responses to some readings, 3 exams, and attendance is normally taken. It was easy and interesting! She does tend to add her political views but it's funny.

Super easy class but listening to her lecture makes me want to jump off a 10 story building. Lectures drag on and her ability to put you asleep could baffle sleep aid manufactures. Easy A.

She is EXTREMELY boring!! She doesn't use PowerPoint or examples, so it's very hard to pay attention in class. She is monotone. She never has a clear outline for what she is talking about, and often goes off on tangents about completely unrelated topics. The only reason to take this class would be for an easy A. Otherwise, I would avoid it.

Extremely boring, but she knows her stuff. Take 360 if you like watching movies and documentaries, because that's about 3/4 of the class. Most of the documentaries are on youtube, so its easy to skip those days and just watch them in bed

Lectures can drag on because she is pretty monotone and doesn't use powerpoints or anything. However, she is awesome. Definitely knows her material, extremely interesting class! Three exams, just follow her study guide and you're guaranteed an A on each exam. 10 one page responses to certain readings. Easy class, I definitely recommend her!

Good professor, easy class, and I learned a lot. My one issue is she doesn't hide her political bias well. Maybe she doesn't care to. But she considered one controversial political story a total fallacy, while calling one from the other side of the spectrum pure truth. It wasn't a huge deal, but I think the class would've been better without that.

Llloyd is very, very easy. If you need an easy A, take her. The downside is she is extremely boring. She is nice but lecture lingers on and she just sits in the front of the room and talks. The tests are easy and she gives you a detailed study guide beforehand. Like I said, take her if you need and easy grade

As a male in "Women in Society" Class,I thoroughly enjoyed the class and almost learned from a female perspective. I shall never forget Lilith, and it has been thirty-six years since I learned of her dastardly deeds with the neonates. I had no problem with her being superior in the coital act. It was too bad Adam could not handle it. Fantastic!

There are no tests in Lloyds' higher classes. You have three (7-10/9-12 page) papers on three or four questions. Yes, it seems hard to write a 7pg paper on three questions but it's actually not too hard. She really likes wikipedia so use it. She does talk in a monotone and it's hard to stay awake in her class sometimes.

She is the nicest woman ever and she is extremely helpful and willing to listen and give you advice. However, it is extremely hard to stay awake in her class. There are only 3 grades for the class which is annoying, and they are each 7-10 page single spaced papers. Not easy. She also doesn't like to stay on one subject; hard to follow her sometimes

She is one of the most knowledgeable professors I have EVER had. Write down all the stuff she says, even if you think it is a causal statement. She brings a lesson plan 2 class follows it and that along with the reading and video are what make up the answers to her test. If you do your best on an essay format (open book) this is your class!

She is very sweet, good-hearted and very knowledgable. At first, I hated the class and fell asleep everytime, but now that I make an effort to listen and take notes, I think it is very interesting. She is a lenient grader, but I highly recommend reading the articles before the tests, as they are mostly short answer. Easy A class!

I had her for Celtic Worlds. A very interesting class. It amazes me how much information she can store in her head. Your grade is based off of 3 7-10 single spaced papers, which kind of suck but aren't that hard if you just sit down and do it. Overall a good class. Very interesting info.

Had Dr. Lloyd over J-Term for Soc 360/Ant.. Catastrophes and human society. The 3 1/2 hour class went by very quickly! We watched about 2 hours of videos every day leaving only about an hour for lecture. (She gave us a few breaks). Didn't learn from the books. Long final paper. 15 pgs. single spaced! Kinda fudged the paper- got an A in the class.
