Todd Smith is so amazing and passionate about his job, he is super helpful during his office hours and explains things fully. The hw can be challenging but the tests are usually pretty easy and very fair with what is expected. I definitely recommend him if possible!

Dr. Smith is such a good professor. His lectures are long, but he tries to make them interesting by using visuals. The only grades are online homework and tests, but he is really good about giving partial credit and curving tests.

I loved Dr. Smith both inside and outside of class. His lectures are long but incredibly organized. He writes everything on the board so you need to be there to learn the material. He is willing to help and dedicates a class to practice problems every week. You need to put work into this class to get a good grade but Dr. Smith helps you through it

Very rare having a native English speaker teaching your physics class AND the guy actually understand and know physics. Very fair class he gives you a formula sheet with everything you need to know on it. One of those classes you end up learning more than just physics in as well. Great caring guy who really does want everyone to succeed.

Professor Smith made physics easy to understand. I have never taken physics before but his examples in class were very helpful. They were very similar to the homework and quizzes which was very helpful. His class was very entertaining because he would jump on the desk and had props. I recommend taking him for physics.

Smith is a good professor and he LOVES physics but he is so advanced that sometimes he's hard to follow. He gives homework weekly and a weekly 10 point quiz. These actually really help because otherwise, I would've never studied until the exams. In 201H I honestly never studied for this class and got by with a B+. 202H is harder.

He gives VERY hard homework problems every week for a grade. and quizzes. he has 4 tests. you could not go to class and it wouldnt affect your grade at all. his notes sucks honestly. he derives equations but gives equation sheets on tests. he doesnt give hardly any example problems. and sometimes seems annoyed when you ask for help. dont take.

Dr. Smith was the best physics professor I could have asked for. He made lectures fun, even though I do not enjoy physics. For an honors class, it is a lot of work, but it is manageable. There is weekly homework and quizzes, both of which are for partial credit. Same with exams. Many people actually switched out of regular into our honors class.

Not helpful at all. Makes you feel incredibly dumb if you have a question. Assumes you already know the basis of physics. Goes very fast, and doesn't teach the little steps. The TA's teach the study groups and don't know what they are even doing. Unless you've taken physics in high school, don't take this class.

I had never taken a physics course before so was very nervous, but Dr. Smith was a great intro to physics teacher. His lectures were very understandable and his tests were very fair. I am not particularly good at physics, but was able to do very well on his tests. If you're nervous about physics, Dr. Smith is a good teacher!

Lets the students basically run the class. Not good with answering peoples questions; seems like he just wants to get out of there as quickly as possible. Can't make up quizzes. Overall, unhelpful professor.

Dr. Smith is a very nice guy and he really knows his material. However, I am not a fan of the way he runs his lectures. He often stops and asks you to "talk to your neighbors" about a topic we are discussing. It is a waste of time and a bit juvenile. The tests are kind of hard but they have weekly review sessions. Overall, I would not recommend him

Dr. Smith is the man! One of the best instructors I have ever had. This guy really knows his physics and his class is geared towards understanding physics in a very clear and simple way. His tests cover only material that you go over in class. He keeps the class interesting and I highly recommend him.

One of the quirkiest and weirdest teachers, but you gotta love Dr. Smith. He makes physics easy and understandable. Thought I would fail, and I actually did very well. Definitely makes sure that you get the information.
