As with every Tracy course, if there are graduate students in the space, the undergraduates will struggle to keep up because he priotizes the grad students. Other than that, he does have good clarification and knowledge of the topics at hand, does go off on tagents and occasionally a uncomfortable moments, but good guy.

Tracy only shows up to the class a few times, however, the grads that teach the class are very knowledgeable on the subject and are willing to help you. The final is tough, so be sure to take the time and study for it.

He is one of the top pros in the field but teaches at my level. Uber organized and uber busy, but always takes time for students who ask for help. Puts cell number in syllabus and expects us to use it. nobody does that. takes us out on pro gigs. I learned a lot.

Tracy doesn't necessarily teach 255. He shows up like three times and then you never see him in class again. Grad students that teach are usually okay. Tracy himself knows lots of things about the industry, but his offhand comments are often offensive and he often plays favorites.

As I was in the class learning the material, it was hard but Tracy worked with us until we all got it. I didn't really feel like we learned a lot until I went with him for a professional job. He put me in charge of a union crew, and I knew more about the job than they did! This guy doesn't just teach information. He gives you skills.

Tracy is probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. Some comments say he is not around, and that is simply not true. He does travel, but he takes students with him and opens their eyes to the real world. He truly cares what I learn and is there for me any time I need him. He puts his cell number in his syllabus and actually answers it!

meh. He is nice and all, but he has a system for rating your classmates on their group participation. It's unfair because one person ends up doing all the work and they feel like a jerk if they rate their classmates poorly. Plus, I don't need lessons on how to work in groups... please just teach me the things I'm paying you to learn.

he is never there. he is only helpful if you dont hurt his ego and he cant teach worth a darn the problem is that he knows his stuff so if you dont mind his idle banter that takes away from the few classes he actually teaches and then can learn from his overreiteration of the fact that he can draft faster and better then you then he aint so bad

He is hands-down the most awesome professor I have ever worked with. He will work with you till 3am to help you understand the material, even at his own house. He even puts his cell number in the syllabus. He expects to learn a LOT to be good at what you do, but he makes it as easy as he can, AND he's very understanding! I LOVE this teacher!!!!!!!!

Tracy is a great teacher, but he is rarely around. His outside company takes him away very often. So if you learn only from in the classroom, he's a great teacher, but once you get into a show situation, you have to figure out how to make an appointment with him just to see him because he is so busy.

Awesome class and awesome teacher to teach it! He's always helpful and he makes sure that you have the right information to either get the answer or find the answer. It's a difficult class but its needed for the subject. More time consuming than anything. but AWESOME PROF!
