There will be 4 2-3 papers due just about every other week. Even if your content is good within those papers she will take off ridiculous points due to grammar or punctuation mistakes. You will more than likely end up with a B if your lucky on those papers. Online tests are not real difficult. Takes her about 5 years to grade an assignment.

Her tests for the online class are ridiculously hard. The class average is a C. I emailed her with some questions about the final exam and she never answered. Overall, not a great experience.

Comment:

Moore was fairly straightforward about assignments and laid out the semester well ahead of time. That said, she was a very tough grader and a boring speaker. Another reviewer mentioned her politics, which are ever-present in the classroom.

Very slow grader. Boring online lectures. Expect C's on the tests if you do not sit through her 2 hour weekly online lecture. 4 2-3 page papers, 1 8 page project, 4 online tests. The online tests are not automatically graded so expect to wait 1-2 weeks to receive your grade.

She is an awesome professor. She will always help you if you need it and treats her students with respect. 408 is a very difficult course, but if you keep up with the reading and come to class with a basic understanding of what the lecuture is going to be about you will be fine. Start writing your paper early and focus during lecture.

Comment:

Excellent and useful assignments--I learned from each one of them. Very fair about grading. Great sense of humor. Very interesting topic (adolescent psychology). Dr. Moore is very knowledgeable. All of the work and the tests were carefully conceived so that by the end you have a good idea of the topic and how to write and do research in it.

Alinde is the worst teacher I think I have ever had. She literally gave me a C+ in her class because I was not a yea-gay LIB like she is. I am very conservative and am not afraid to hide it. If I just decribed you I strongly recommend not taking her class. I know I am not the only one in my class who got the same treatment. Everything in her class

The worst class I've ever taken. Pointless writing assignments that she grades extremely hard. The concepts itself were interesting, but I'd definitely recommended a different teacher if you want to take the class. Don't expect a good grade if you take her. 7 people dropped out of my class.

Dr. Moore is really nice. Her class is not too bad if you are willing to do her writing assignments. I found it interesting, and we learned a lot without having to put in a ton of effort.
