Doesnt teach whatsoever. Puts a problem on the board, says "This is what you do", and works it out silently, never explaining anything, then moves on. Tests are insanely hard. The class average on our last two exams were below 40. The day after the first test he preceded to tell us how its all our faults that we did poorly.

Nice guy but he is too smart to teach average students. Couldnt understand. Gave a study guide for the first test but didnt even teach what was on it. Gave semi easy problems in class and then on test was hard level questions not covered. You have to teach yourself. DROPPED CLASS AND CHANGED MAJOR. Class average of test one was 43-45%.

Nice guy, but rough prof. He glosses over points. This is a big teach-yourself prof. His class is well received by those who are strong in chem. However, a lot of students struggle and fail. I tutored classmates incessantly. He does not offer much feedback or take questions during class. This class tests your ability to learn on your own.

Dr Madji is one of the best professors that I have ever had. He really made me love chemistry because he made it so easy to understand. He really cares about his students and is willing to help anyone who asks.

I really don't understand why anyone has a problem with Mr. Majdi. The only bad thing about any of his classes is he does not teach lab, and the lab instructor, Dr. Ayers, just yells and calls people from Southeastern Georgia stupid.

Mr. Majdi is my favorite professor so far. His lectures are awesome, and because he was a biology major, he goes over a lot of the areas in between bio and chem. The only bad thing about any of his classes is he does not teach lab, and the lab instructor, Dr. Ayers, just yells and calls people from Southeastern Georgia stupid.

Mr Majdi is a great professor. His style of teaching takes some getting used to and is still not for everyone, especially those who are not interested in the subject matter to begin with. I took his class for Chem I and now have him again for Chem II. Pay attention and ask questions if necessary. I passed with an A and so can anyone if they want to

Brief power point and then an extreme amount of examples. Doesn't really explain the problems well. No clear answer when asking a question. Nice guy. Funny jokes. Boring class.

His class is pretty easy for the most part. There was no book, test were pretty easy. There is a quiz once a week, but its not bad. He does tend to get frustrated when u ask him questions. And he only shows you your test grades, so you really dont know where u stand until the very end.

Exceptionally dull teaching style, all off the power point. Tests were much harder than anticipated. But easily one of my favorite characters of my whole career. Has a bizarre, but interesting sense of humor. Catches a lot of flack for his "Colorado" accent because most college kids are morons. Labs vary between dull and fun.

Comment:
His voice is monotone, which makes for a very *boring* class. The tests are pretty easy and the notes are PowerPoint, so there's not much to do in class. The labs are long, boring, and not much help at all in understanding the class. He doesn't explain things in a way that we can perfectly understand...so most of the time, we're on our own in terms of the homework and labwork.
