I had B. Chapman for MAT102 SP1 2017. The ones who complained about her moving way too fast or getting mad at students for asking questions, let me tell you something. This is college and I find NOTHING worng with her teaching technique. I wish that more professors were like her. As long as you are a serious person, then she's pretty reasonable.

I took 102 with Chapman and she critiqued every little thing. If you make one small mistake on a test question, chances are you won't get any points. I had to re-take the course and signed up without paying attention to who I got the second time and ended up with her again. Left the second time barely passing. She means well, but don't recommend!

Professor Chapman is a nice lady, but she wasnt a good teacher for me. If you arent AMAZING at math then dont bother with her. She moves very quickly and will get mad if you ask questions. Also beware of her test, she will take off points for EVERYTHING! She is very old school, her ways arent always the easiest which made things a lot harder.

If you are one of those students who is good at math or has the discipline to teach yourself the material, then you should have no problem passing her class. Otherwise, good luck if you have her as an Instructor. She goes through the material rather QUICKLY and most students have a hard time keeping up.

Wonderful instructor. If you pay attention and don't play on your phone the whole time you will have no problem. Don't miss a class with this compressed schedule. She posts videos that are very helpful. Went out of her way to help me, as I am not very good at math, but I came out with an A. I wish I could have her for every math class. take her.

I took Professor Chapman's MAT102 Online class for the Fall II semester. This professor is extremely helpful in that she posts learning videos from prior brick and mortar classes on D2L. The video lessons are extremely clear and encourages engagement with the material. I never had to seek out direct help. Definitely well thought out. She is great!

She is awesome! She is willing to help you at her office hours! I really liked how she would give you every point you earned! She also hammers the material in the students head and there will be no surprises on the tests! She also makes students life easier by letting them to use calculator and teaching easy and fast methods. I appreciate her!

Least favorite college teacher I have ever had. She seemed to not really care if the students were absorbing what she was saying. when asked questions about what she was teaching she would look at them like they were dumb and then have an attitude when re-telling them the same way she just had. Do not Take!

HW has to be done online as well as our test (except midterm/final). She'll review tests and whatever else in her office and give credit back. She is an amazing/helpful instructor. I plan on getting her for another math class!!!

I had her for Prob&Stat. She is a GREAT teacher, she will explain things until you understand them and breaks down the prob so its understandable, give lots of examples and study guides. She has a corny sense of humor but she is really nice. She does not like people that don't participate or slackers.

Straightforward class. Listen to lecture, do opt homework, review, take test. I think she's a great and funny teacher although she doesn't appreciate slackers & expects good behavior & class participation. I had NO math skills previous to this class and it looks like I'll probably make an A.

I had Ms. Chapman for Prob and Stat and she is really corky but funny. She does give you several examples from homework assg. so you can understand the material.The tests are not hard but if you did not do the hmwrk. all the material will be harder to understand. As long as you study you should pass.

I DID NOT like Ms. Chapman at all. She's rude and inconsiderate and if you go to her for help, she tells you that she doesn't have time. The only way I got through her class was through tutoring. Do NOT take this lady, she's RUDE and unhelpful!

She's a horrible teacher and doesn't even know what she's talking about. She changes her answers all the time and is always wrong. her whole class had to correct her! that is so bad when your students correct you. Avoid her class if you can!

Take her class, she's a very fair and methodical teacher. Homework, but doesn't collect. Pay attention in every class, and it's impossible to not get an A.
