Mr. Jones is a nice teacher he hands out study guides for his tests, but the study guide is a lot easier than the actual test. He doesn't teach the information like he needs to. There is a lot of self-teaching in this class. He makes his test long for a 50 minute class.

Comment:

Couldn't have hoped for a better math teacher! Very easy and willing to change the schedule if he realizes the whole class needs more time. The tests are laid out exactly like the study guides, just with different numbers. He is very nice. If you can take anyone take him. Just come to class and occasionally do your homework and you'll be fine.

Awful. Does not give students any mercy period. If anything I wish I would have dropped the class when I could and took someone else. I have always made A's in math classes and I'm even a math major and this professor was terrible. Exams were always harder that the study guide and homework. Just do whatever you possibly can to avoid him.

Super nice teacher who knows his stuff. He jumped in to the material pretty quickly on the first day, but don't let that scare you. He is more than willing to help you understand what you're learning.

Professor Jones really cares for his students. He gives study guides and his tests are just like them. He gives quizzes in class and online. MyMathLab is also a requirement. It really helps boost your grade up. He is pretty easy but you must study and do practice problems if you want to pass. Take him!

Jones is not quite as bad as these slackers complain. He covers the material completely, is very helpful, gives study guides to the tests, and generally prepares students well for the material. That being said, it's nearly impossible to pay attention to his monotone lectures. Be prepared to study for hours and DO THE HOMEWORK.

Mr. Jones is the nicest man. He truly cares about his students, and knows them all by name. He is a litle difficult, but there are many ways to improve your grade. This is my second time taking college algebra, and Mr. Jones is by far a better teacher than my other one.

Most boring class I've ever had. "Teaches" straight off mathlab and out of the book. Doesn't really teach at all just goes out of the book. Extremely hard to do well unless you are a math person, made my first C in the class.

If you are a person who can get math quickly, then you will be okay - but many days in his class he would teach one whole section in 10 minutes because he had ran out of time. He was very nice and always wanted to help but I ended up dropping because I just couldn't learn at the pace he wanted us too.

he was a VERY hard teacher. i made a 24 on my first test and he said if you made below a 40, you needed to drop because you weren't gonna pass.. so, i dropped his class. i DO NOT reccomend him.

MR.JONES WAS A GREAT TEACHER, I THOUGHT. HE GAVE GREAT STUDY GUIDES AND YES THEY HAD A LOT OF MISTAKES, BUT IF YOU CAUGHT THEM, YOU GOT EXTRA CREDIT. VERY EASY AND IT WOULD BE HARD TO FAIL HIS CLASS
