Awesome teacher! 80% of your grade is test the other 20% is homework and math quizzes. She is helpful and emails you all the time! If you study the chapter reviews you will have no problem passing the tests. She doesnt trick you at all the test are usually 20 questions or less! Take her she is great!

Comment:

Math is a hard subject for me, I decided to take Congleton because Safaralian was full. The noticeable difference is Congleton does not allow extra credit. BUT at the end of the semester you have the ability to go back and correct quizzes you did poorly on. In order to pass the class you have to 100% on hw. 90 and above on quizzes. 70 on tests.

Her online class was one of the least tedious I have taken. She has you learn what you need to know and as long as you do the homework 100% you'll do fine on exams. She is understanding and patient and allows you to make-up two quizzes. You can tell she really wants her students to do well and her frequent emails are always sincere and helpful.

Online math classes through My Math Lab don't require a lot of instructor involvement. If you are self motivated and can stay on schedule, you'll do great in this class. She offers plenty of extra resources if you are having difficulty understanding the material. Great teacher!

Mrs. C is a very sweet and caring lady. Her patience is extraordinary and she really cares bout her students. The hybrid class is very well organized and easy. I actually liked it better then any math class I have taken before. In class she reviews what we are learning online and helps with any issues. Tests are easy if you do the homework.

Prof Congleton was instrumental in my passing this class. I am not good at math by any means and have failed in the past. Although she assigns a lot of homework, she allows you to make it up if you miss it and if you make it to the end of the semester, she lets you redo EVERY ASSIGNMENT including quizzes for a higher grade. Wish she taught stats!

Comment:

Carol Congleton is one of the most helpful professors I've ever had. In her online class, you can take the quizzes over and over again before the dues date, in order to get a better grade. The same goes for homework. She lets you re-do a few quizzes and homework any time after the due date, with no grade penalty. The class is clear. You will learn.

this was my 3rd and last chance to pass this class. I took Tom Blamey who is the worst, rudest teacher ever and failed both times. This time around she has helped so much I have an A. I never thought I could have an A in math but she gives you extensions if you struggle on something and retries on things. LOVE HER! She actually cares .

I took this class online and it definitely is not for everyone. The grading scale is based almost solely on how well you do on the tests and finals (a total of four), so if you do poorly on one it's hard to get a good grade. I received an A and this professor seems nice, but I probably won't be taking math online anytime soon.

Took the course online. Did great! The program is easy to use - provides many examples, sometimes animations with narrative, and the option to redo assignments as many times as you like until they're due. Congleton was very accessible and understanding. Set aside several hours for each assignment. You will only do well if you apply yourself!

This was an online math class. I had to take an online math class because of my work schedule. I tried so hard to get a good grade in this class. I emailed the teacher several times, had friends tutor me, went to a tutor, and spent hours and hours studying for this class but nothing helped. Her grade-scale is awful. I have to re-take this course.

ONLINE Class, Mrs. C. is extremely helpful & sweet! Class is well structured, tons of resources available. Nevertheless, it seemed like a lot of work. Also, if you are a bad typist, your answers will be wrong although it's correct on paper. If I had to do it again, I'd opt for the on- campus class. I'm a 4.0 student and got an A here, too.
