lecturer trimble has very little understanding of what it means to teach, her course is literal torture: mymathlab incarnate in all its gore, in all its fury; you will learn nothing here but how to stress the actual limits of your memory skills, because any theory is lost; take this class to get a free education from youtube professors

she is an aweful teacher. Does not realize the point of education, and should spend some time reading plato and aristotle. I got a very very high C because of many trivial details she insisted were of utmost importance. Taught the individuals who understood the material previous to class very well. Everyone else was a nuciance.

Trimble is a horrible person, who relies on a sadistic grader for all her corrections, as well as tutors and supplemental instruction to cover the coursework. Will never take her again and warn you all not to even try her. Have taken several math profs at sdsmt and she is definately the worst. Says she's interested in your success but is not.

I'm going to bend over backwards to try and get her again for Calc. Great teacher. Tests aren't really that hard just one problem 50mins in not enough time. Final was too easy just study your quizes and you can't go wrong. Most of the stuff I studied for the final were the really hard stuff but wasn't even on the test.

Talks faster then a crackhead on payday. Has an irrational hatred of calculators.Very trig heavy. Pretty fair and helpful teacher, strait grading, the only curves in this class are hers.

Just pay attention and pass the class. That is about all it is worth. You used some trig identities in calc, but not the overall rules from this class. However, the lectures are not a problem to sit and listen to, that is if you listen.
