Dr. Landweber is very passionate about the classes she teaches and I actually learned quite a bit despite this being a completely online asynchronous course. We would have a discussion board every week about the chapter we read and an online, open book test on it every sunday. She would always respond to students comments and offer more information

Professor Landweber, while a good lecturer, keeps you in dark regarding your standing in the class. She doesn't use Canvas for grades. She takes a lot of liberties in missing class as well. I have a neutral outlook on this professor. There is a big group project & a final exam of which you will not know your grade. Enjoyable, but disappointing.

I really like this class and this professor . The midterm and final were tough but If you study they are do able . This class is not an easy class. You have to read and take a lot notes . This class was enjoyable and the teacher was very nice and knowledgable . I enjoyed the lectures she put online. She is very organized . Take her class.

I am currently taking her emergence to European history and I LOVE HER! We only have five grades- three essays, midterm, and final. She really does prepare you for all the assignments and exams. As long as you show up to all her classes and take GOOD NOTES; you should be fine. Honestly, love her!

Landweber is OK. Get ready to take notes. You cannot really skip class unless you connect with someone to give you really good notes. Her lectures are nice and organized and sometimes interesting. Be prepared to take a lot of notes. Her midterm and final can be a little complicated, but she is there to help. And do not forget to STUDY!

I had Professor Landweber my spring semester of my freshman year. She didn't have many exams, but the two that she had were difficult and she did not prepare us well in class. This class is essential, but I think I would have gotten more from a better teacher. She is too strict and traditional for my liking. Not the worst or best!

Professor Landweber is AMAZING! I had her for Intro to Women and Gender Studies and now I am majoring in it! She makes everything so easy to understand. She barely gives homework, only a few one page papers based on opinion. No tests, and one group project which isn't too hard. She gives three free absences and sometimes lets out early.

I believe that Dr. Landweber has students' best interests at heart. Just be aware that she can be awfully critical when it comes to grading and if she is not impressed, you will be penalized. Just try to complete your reading diligently, prepare well for her assignments and take advantage of her office hours. You will not regret it.

She's a really nice lady. The class only has one project, so it's not really much of a workload, which is awesome. I genuinely enjoyed going to this class because all of the discussions were interesting, enlightening, and relevant to the world around us.

Great professor and very nice. Book is expensive but you need it. 4 units, each one has an assignment of your choice, writing or a quiz. She's a tough grader on the writing but the quizzes are word for word out of the book and you have plenty of time to do it. The tests are a little difficult but there's a study guide. Know the map to boost grade.

My experience with Dr. Landweber was much better at the upper level. It is a much smaller class so you don't get lost, there is more individual attention and more meaningful conversation. There is a large amount of reading (scandalous at time:} lol) I enjoyed all of it, though it can get tedious. She is extremely helpful, clear and knowledgeable.

Typically boring, like all other history courses at MSU. Only assigned two easy 5-7 pg essays and a final. The final, however, was very hard and her final study guide was too ambiguous to help. shes very nice though... take her if you have to

Professor Landweber is a great teacher who truly cares about the welfare of her students. Her tests aren't too bad if you follow the study guide she provides on blackboard. She does her best to make the class interesting and tells stories in addition to her lectures to try and help the students understand the information being taught.

She's really nice and she lectures almost every class. A few classes during the semester are for discussions on readings she assigns. The tests aren't easy but if you study you should be fine. No papers just the tests, midterm, and final.

By far the worst professor at MSU. People say she is good, but that is on personality only. Her classes are miserably long and boring and her tests are in such great detail and super hard. She expects us to all be historians and know EXACT dates for 90% of all events we learn. STAY AWAY
