Dr. G is great! As long as you do your work, pay attention, and participate in her class, you will get through it with no problem. I would definitely take her again if I had the opportunity!!

She's super sweet and helpful. She allows you to reach her at any time if you're having any problem. She's also very supportive. You're out in the field all semester so be ready. You get placed at Eden Autism or Mercer Special needs school. The assignments are super easy. She also not a hard grader at all as long as you answered everything.

She also told us and other professionals that we were working with that she didn't understand what the material or had never heard of it before. She told us not to do a certain technique because she didn't understand it. She also gave little notice of assignment instructions. She also consistently compared my process to other students.

Dr. G was completely unprofessional during this course. I went to Italy with her as well and she was unprofessional then, but I had already registered for this course so I figured I'd give her a second chance. She embarrassed us on site by screaming and yelling at us because she heard a student venting and she threatened to fail my friend. TBC

Dr.G seems really nice in the beginning but as she gets comfortable with you a few weeks in you see a really nasty side of her. She is extremely hard to reach, she never answers emails so honestly don't bother. If you don't have your books for class you better get them because she does random checks when she's mad and takes points off.

Dr.G is the best professor I have ever had. I went on the Spain trip with her last May and it was the best time of my life. She is so passionate about special education and it really rubs off on you! Take her class its a blast. But shes always late to class, she'll probably be late to your first class.

Dr. G is one of the kindest, most entertaining professors I have ever met. I looked forward to her classes every week, and I can honestly SPE 201 with her made me really want to teach Special Education even more than I already did. If you can pick who you take 201 with, definitely take it with her! :)
