DROP THE CLASS! I Never missed one class period and it was absolutely the worst semester of my life. This teacher not only made English more confusing but wouldn't give me the help I needed. Honestly just come to class, write your papers like 3 btw, and do the reading. She really cares about the students and wants the best for you. The class is basically an overview of everything you should already know so it's only difficult if you didn't do well in school before.

Diane Martin is very unorganized and always in a rush. She plays favorites on students she likes. She's always in a rush and doesn't care about a student. All I can say is that she is a waste of your money and that you would get a poor education from her. I give her ALL ZEROS!

The class was very easy for me, can be very boring somedays and many times she was very confusing on what was assigned or due, however she is very forgiving as a teacher if you mess up, just make sure you show up to pass.

In my class, students complain about the class but its the students who don't care about the class, absent regularly, and talk during her lectures. She's a great teacher and helps you become a better writer if you're willing to read the assigned reading and take in all her notes on your essays. Easy A if you're great with doing loads of work.

Tough professor, hard to understand what she is asking you to do. Reading the book is mandatory and the only way you will be able to pass her class. Always attend because it's easy to fail if your not in class. Be ready to get challenged if you take her.

Very unclear about what she is looking for in your essays. Dont leave class with out understanding the assignments 100%. Doesnt teach, lets the book teach for her. She likes you to write about personal experiences. Pretty cool teacher and pretty funny about certain topics. Pretty cool class. Made night class not so horrible! READ the assigned stuff

She was nice when she spoke about her personal life/random things,but she's easily the most confusing teacher ever. She jumps around so much in class its hard to keep up with anything she is talking about. Many students dropped her class b/c it was too much. She'll give you papers and not explain how she wants them done until the day that it is due

easily the worst teacher I've ever had at any level. the only way I stood a chance in this class was because of the writing center. She is horrible at explaining what the homework is; when i went to ask her about what it was her explanation wasn't any better. The English center people agree that shes terrible and don't know what she wants.

Great teacher and expects you to be able to write and discuss writing at college level. She isn't a difficult teacher if you know what you're doing, which by this point most people should. She does use the book a lot, but if you read it (as expected) will help you succeed in class. She can be confusing, but if you ask questions she will explain.

She was an interesting teacher. She talked about herself a lot and would get side tracked when teaching. She is very demanding and unclear. It took her a week to explain an important assignment. The book is ALWAYS needed. Keep your papers she passes back, a few of my papers were never recorded! You wont know if passing or failing till its too late.

Teaches very well. Some of the older students had a hard time following her, but younger students followed fairly easy. If you have a problem with her teaching she does her best to accommodate. She kinda plays favorites but teaches a lot and class can be fun w/ group classwork and discussion

She is really mean and treats the class like they are in kindergarden. She doesn't know how to teach nad is never clear on what she wants done. She yells at students for leaving in the middle of class or being late. She doesnt give breaks and its a 2 hr class. She always interuppts and butts in ppls conversations. She is really rude and never explains anything right. She lost 10 different students essays in my class and she just gave them an F even though it was completely her fault for lossing them. She also is terrible at explaning what she wants in the essays. I left this class confused and frusterated everyday.

This class was actually pretty fun but time-consuming.No email/Blackboard, no office hrs so you only have the class time to learn how to write better& sometimes, she doesn?t specify. Essays are written on the computer-convenient but when the final exam comes..hellooo to writer?s block! Every pt matters so it?s hard to make up all the pts at the end

She is an awesome teacher! The first day she was very very intimidating, I even thought about dropping but stuck with it. She taught me how to write and actually enjoy it. She lets you rewrite your essays if you get a bad grade. She has awesome stories. All in all it was a great class. I definatly reccomend her to anyone who hates english!
