She is a wonderful professor. I have no complaints whatsoever. She assigned a great deal of work, but gave excellent feedback & always gave everything back on time. She gives ample opportunities to redo your work if necessary & you'll have extra credit options. She grades fairly & makes taking her course worthwhile. I highly recommend her.

Comment:

Doris Hart is an experience that makes college worth while. She's funny, energetic, original, attentive, and encouraging. There are a lot of assignments, but they are all fun and beneficial to any writer who wants to develop their talent. My spring-semester Hart belongs to Doris.

Pros: many extra credit opportunities, gives chances to revise papers and homeworks, teaches effectively (I learned a lot about Journalism), exams are easy, very sweet and kindhearted. Cons: very slow paced, hard grader (though for me it's a good thing, but probably not for others), writing news stories and news casts for exams can be difficult.

hart is wonderful- she is fair- if you feel your not doing well she gives you plenty oppertunity for extra credit.do all your HW it prepairs you for the midterm & final. no tests gives HW every week but gives it ahead of time so your not pressured. A++++

If you love to write you will write. You get what you put into it. Who ever said she gave to much work obviously hasn't been challenged in writing or other classes or just doesn't like to write It's a writing class. Duh! She's awesom & nobody's perfect. She from Bronx and very straight forward. She lets you rewrite for a better grade. She's so FAIR

She is a good teacher. Just do the work as instructs and participate in class. She may ask for your opinion in a discussion. If she don't agree with it she will let you know, but don't get insulted. She is just strong minded and very opinionated. Do the work as she asks it to be dont and your fine.

She’s nice and very forgiving. As long as you show up, do your homework and answer a few questions you should be fine. She really likes details! Her only downfall is her odd (unfortunately sometimes smelly) over protective husband. Mostly he just hands out the attendance sheet, complains about the printers, and falls asleep during her lectures.
