Mr. Buckley was the best teacher I've had at Wright College. I took his English course, drama, poetry and Shakespeare. All the courses have changed my view positively towards literature. I enjoy reading more because of Mr. Buckley's inspiration. He also loves to talk about London, which was so pleasant to listen to. He is awesome

Like someone else on this page I found Dr. Buckley 10 years after taking his course. In those ten years I got my degrees and am now teaching English at the City Colleges. I would not be here today if it were not for Dr. Buckley's astounding inspiration in Shakespeare. He changes lives. He did mine.

I was looking at this site for a current teacher and saw Dr. Buckley's name. Although it has been eight years since I took his class I think of him often. Simply, he changed my life through literature. I go to theater, have been to London and Paris all because of him. One of the good guys.

He changed the way that I wrote. I thought I was pretty good when I walked in but he made me much better, he challenged my writing from day 1 and I still give him credit for molding my writing style.

I had him in Spring 2004 when he went on leave to run the Union. I went back because of him I am now a Shakespeare teacher myself. I was going to be a business major. He inspired me. He inspired everyone.

Mr. Buckley should talk more about the subject matter than about himself. I know more about his life in England than I do about Shakespeare's. Other than that, he makes class fun and he makes it a pleasure to wake up early and go to school.

this guy has some crazy stories! (ask him about the origin of roman numerals.) he lives 6 months out of the year in england, so he has some different prespectives. gets off topic a lot, but it's all interesting.
