I've had Dr. Sabau for various Economics courses throughout my years at MUN. She's one of the most passionate, caring, and helpful professors I've had the pleasure of taking a course with. She does everything she can to help you, and if you put in any bit of effort you will likely do well in her classes. Highly recommend.

Gabriella does an amazing job at teaching the topics in economics, however lectures can get quite boring. She's an easy grader and the assignments she hands out definitely will prepare you for the midterm and final.

Comment:

Hard to understand what she is explaining but she is more than willing to help you out. She posts the lectures but show up if you want her help, since she pays attention to who comes. Sweet lady and helps alot during office hours. Assignments are brutally long but some of the answers can be found online, I suggest getting a group to work on them.

Dr. Sabau makes me love Grenfell even more. She is so kind, sweet, and approachable. the course overall was very interesting, and more social than mathematical. Sabau really wants all of her students to succeed, and is willing to clarify through experience or relatable examples. the paper, midterm and final, were fair. she gets to know her students

Dr. Sabau is extremely concerned with your success in all of her classes. I've had 3 courses with her thus far and have enjoyed them all. environmental economics is a great course and Dr Sabau has extensive experience she is able and willing to share with you that is a great learning tool . Her door is always open, and i mean always!

Dr Sabau is awesome! she is so friendly and nice and i would love to take another class with her. her lectures are boring though and she reads directly from slides which are word for word from the book. she is always there to help so dont be afraid to ask her to clarify things.

Gabby is a complete sweetheart! Her lectures are sometimes hard to understand because her English isn't so good. But she is always willing to help after class and her door is always open if you have questions. Read the text book! If you don't understand something from class read the chapter in the text and you will do great! I loved her!

Really sweet lady who wants everyone to do great in her class, unfortunately I have never learned anything from going to her class. She is so boring that it is hard to pay attention to, and she is hard to understand. Fortunately her tests are fairly easy, she lets you pass in assignments whenever you want, and bring formula sheet to exams.

Gabriella was the nicest prof Ive ever had at Grenfell. She is a sweetheart who really cares about how her students do in the course... even lets you hand in assignments a week or more past due. She also lets you have a formula sheet for the final which you can make up yourself which REALLY helps. Classes are boring though.

Comment:

Best Teacher at Grenfell by far, Willing to explain anything twice if you don't understand. Easy to contact via email, easy to understand, gives very clear examples. Assignments and Exams are fair and very similar. One of the nicest profs I have had to date, and very eager to help her students.
