Wow. What a gem. I narrowly missed getting an A and that was my fault by not following directions on the midterm. HE TELLS YOU EXACTLY WHAT TO STUDY. Took it as a block week course. AWESOME. Do not leave the group project to last minute. He was awesome and fun to listen to. Class is truly optional, but make sure you read the powerpoints.

Comment:

By far my favorite prof on campus! His lectures will not make you sleep, they are interesting and fun. He is a fantastic teacher and super easy grader. Group projects are annoying but overall super easy.

Gerry is amazing. I have taken every class he teaches and recommend you do too. He is interesting, easy going and he makes his classes really fun. I never wanted to miss a class. Even when attendance was not mandatory, I still went.

Great guy. Generous marker, makes classes interesting, and his tests are very easy. If go to class this is an easy A. Very helpful with any questions and his office hours are very useful. I wish I had more classes with Gerry one of the best profs i've had

The EASIEST class i took this spring. Gerry is amazing, clearly tell you what to expect on the exam and how to get an A. Just show up and your done!

Comment:

Grading criteria is very unclear from the syllabus and not spoken about in class, you have to ask for specific information. Otherwise excellent course to work on your presentation skills, most of the course is based on PPT presentations. Exams are directly based off the slides and quite fair. If you adapt your style to his liking you can get an A.

Gerry is a great prof! He clearly knows what he is talking about and makes the class extremely interesting. Not only that, but he tells everyone what is needed for each test and understands that students are just trying to finish the class with a good mark. Highly recommend him as a prof.

Was okay in the beginning, but he eft halfway through the semester and we had 2 different profs teach us but test on his exam. Which is not fair. Also he tests on material not even covered in class. Notes didn't help, used google for the most part.

Gerry is the best prof! I highly recommend him. He is very fair and there are no surprises on any of the tests. Overall he is a fair marker, however he expects the final projects to be flawless. He makes class interesting and worthwhile. If you want to ace the midterm and final I recommend the textbook in order to help with the MC questions.

I find coming to class very helpful but he does provide all or most of the notes on blackboard. The textbooks are not necessary but it is a good idea and will help so much in the test if you use them.

Gerry was great for keeping you entertained during class while creating an open discussion classroom environment. Everything we went through was on blackboard and I rarely opened my textbook. For the midterm and final as long as you put lots of detail into your answers you'll get an A. Awesome prof and a very fun class.

This class was pretty easy, attending all lectures isn't mandatory though since everything he goes through in class is on blackboard. He's a super nice teacher and is very laid back, but I didn't enjoy watching youtube videos that can sometimes be irrelevant to the course. I got lost sometimes in remembering what we were learning.

Gerry is an awesome prof. He is super involved with the class and absolutely loves teaching. It seems like he is only teaching for fun and that is why the course is so interesting. Wants to help you succeed as much as possible.

Gerry was an amazing teacher. He didn't use the textbook often - which was a huge adjustment for me, as I am so textbook oriented. He taught the material but used a everyday life examples to get the information across. Attendance is not mandatory - I would recommend showing up, if not for the lecture but for the stories!

Comment:

Good Professor but picks favorites. No use of text book during class but puts materials from text book on exams. Watch out for plagiarism he knocks hard on it and some group assignments were given a zero or fifty percent off grade depending on who did it.
