Mrs. Howell was very rude when emailing her asking her questions if there was a possibility for extra credit. She gives you tests with maybe an hour and a half at the most time limit, and the problems are very long. Usually you do not have time to go over your work when the test is complete.

You can tell that Mrs. Howell loves her job! She is an amazing teacher! I dont really like math, but she made it easy to understand! *Note: on MyMathLab (where you do most homework) you can keep answering questions until you make a 100. There is no reason that you shouldnt pass the class. If you actually care youll make a B or an A!

Gives good lecture videos with plenty of details, just wished she talked a little louder. It's hard to hear on laptops. Plenty of homework on GaView and MySTATLab. I haven't opened my book once but you'll need a graphing calculator. The MySTATLab weekly module is sometimes confusing because the wording on a problem is different than the online HW.

I've taken Dr. Howell for precalculus and calculus I. She is an EXCELLENT instructor. She gives thorough lectures on the material and offers ample opportunity for assistance if needed. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone. Fantastic professor!

BEST math teacher i have ever taken. I am not good at all in math but she helped me in so many ways. She was there when you needed her one on one and always so helpful. She was very easy to understand and actually made me enjoy algebra.

Fabulous professor, and gives students a very clear understanding of the subject matter. However, when she says to turn in an assignment, she means the very second she calls for it. She takes everything from the the textbook, but puts it in simplistic terms and has an understandable example for EVERYTHING! Just buy the code for the book for MathLab

I took this class because I was limited in choices and needed the credit. I had heard that she was easy to understand and would work with students if extra help was needed or if they were in a bind. However she often came to class unprepared but if we showed up without our work we were given zeros. I will never take her again she is extremely rude.

She is really easy to understand. The tests are simple as long as you show up on the review day. Come to class or you will fall behind. She moves through the material quickly, but she will stop in the middle if someone doesn't understand. She always comes to class with a smile. Really, really wonderful professor! You can tell she loves her job!
