This professor was very great! I am a person who is awful at math, but this professor taught math in more than one way. The textbook taught you one way, but he would take it to another level and made sure everyone understood the topic. Would highly recommend this professor to anyone who takes any math class. He definitely made learning fun!

Comment:

Take CISS 121 with Mr. Koleno if you can. Only occasional homework and step-by-step projects in class that he can help on, and 5 tests. He cares and wants you to do well. The content was review for most people mixed in with new and informative topics. If you're good with computers with class will be a breeze.

Wonderful teacher. I personally am awful at math and was scared to take any math courses .This class definitely has a steady pace but, he is always willing to help, answer questions, and replies immediately if you need to email him for any reason. His grading is more than fair. I plan to continue taking him all the way up .

I had Mr. Koleno for my first year and a half. I had him for the intermediate levels and one college level math. He does his best to be sure you understand the information. Best math teacher I've EVER had! RECOMMEND!

After not taking Math for over 15 years, I was scared to take it let alone online. He is by far the most organized and best online teacher I ever had.He really wants to see his students succeed.The class is hard online but if you commit, you will do fine.Again, great teacher.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I took Math 023 online and Mr. Koleno is so nice and so extremely helpful! I would highly recommend taking him if you have Math classes to complete. I have decided to sign up for Math 151 with him instead of the other professor that I was going to take because he is so helpful and easy to work with!

AMAZING teacher! Took this class online after not taking a math class since high school (3 years). He had videos from old classes and was also there to help if a student needed it. Best online class I have ever taken and best teacher I've had at LCCC.

The low rating for 'easiness' has nothing to do with Professor Koleno. He is incredibly helpful. Emails are answered within 24 hours (usually within hours) and he also answers ?s on a discussion forum in the online classes. Highly recommended if you aren't brilliant in math.

i never understood math until i got to know mr. koleno he is so helpful and goes step by step with the math he is so clear on what he teaches..his test are soo easy just go to class everyday and pay attention.He is so good on his job a great teacher..
