4 tests and a paper. No homework ever and hardly used the textbook. This guy really knows what he is talking about, but all he does is lecture and you must take notes from what he is saying. So overall its an easy class you just gotta take good notes and study

My favorite class this semester! Easy if you study your notes. I bought the book but only needed for vocabulary. 4 tests and one easy paper. 10 vocabs are on the test. Professor Bolen makes lectures interesting and all questions on the test are in your notes.

This class is easy if you actually attend class and study. This is a lecture only class so if you can't take good notes find a different teacher. You only have 5 grades so you have little room to screw off. The book is only used for vocabulary and you can rent it from the library.

very easy class, all lecture so need to take good notes. only 5 grades total: 4 exams, 1 super easy paper, just have to follow the guidelines and an easy A. I didn't even use the textbook just looked up the vocab online.

Prof. Bolen knows how to keep class interesting. He is very helpful and clear. just show up to class and take notes. test is straight out of notes for the most part. you only need book to pull about 10 vocal words for every test, but you can do that at the library. 4 test and 1 very easy research paper. i recommend taking him

AMAZING!!! very nice guy and test are easy, everything comes from the notes, one paper that he barely grades just follow rules and you will pass with an A, study notes and you will pass class. 4 Test, 1 Paper.

Dr. Bolen is excellent! He IS such a cute older man; maybe it's his intellect. He knows what he is talking about and I love that about a professor! Show up to class, take notes, get an A.

SO EASY. All you have to do is attend all classes, because you don't want to skip lecture, take thorough notes (he is very clear on what should be on the notes and what shouldn't and gives plenty time ti write it all down), and study the 10 extra terms. Easy A! Just pay attention and study your notes. He's a fun and very intelligent professor!

Professor bohen is far from easy. Although like everyone else said, tests are speccifically based on the notes you take in class. He also makes sure to point out the specific things that will be on the exams. The book is never used, so dont bother buying it. Its not an easy class in general for a freshman like me. Solid teacher though. Take it.

I loved him! Cute older man!Tests are all nots based!Come to class study the notes he gives you the terms for test on blackboard in aphabetical order and its cadilac there is one essay for gov 1, very easy.

Dr.Bolen is an excellent college teacher. Everything he says in class will be in the test. We only use our textbooks for the vocabulary he makes us learn for the test. He talks through the whole class, but you will never be bored!

BORING professor. You don?t use the book so don?t buy it. He gives you vocab and lecture notes, but this is not help for the TEST. TESTS are extremely hard. 2 essays and 4 tests. No extra credit!!

EXAMS ARE EXTREMELY HARD! I went to every class and kept making a 60 do i dropped. His lectures are so fast so I would bring a tape recorder. The book had to be used for vocabulary which made up 25% of the exams.

If you take notes and do the vocabulary you will pass. Tests are mostly lecture and some vocab. He really got me interested in Govt. I would not say his class is an easy one, but if you attend class and pay attention you will be good. His test are all 50 questions on scantron. He has the grades on BB in less than an hour. Great Guy!
