Comment:
Professor Kay assigns quite a bit of reading and is a pretty hard grader for papers. She is also an interesting lecturer (if a bit rambling), and is very passionate about her subject matter. I would highly recommend this class if you are interested in AfAm studies but not so much if you want to learn about any religions other than Catholicism.

I cannot more encourage you to consider taking Antisemitism and the Holocaust. It's an astounding class taught by a dedicated professor. (Judith is great). She does tend to assign a fair amount of reading, but if you go to her and express that frustration, she will often pair it down.

Comment:
Professor Kay is a very nice person, however, this class is the most boring I have ever taken. The classes themselves are easy, but her grading on papers is ridiculously hard. The course was not what it was advertised to be, and everyone in my class was disappointed.

Judith was really nice, but I hated her class. The work load was impossible. The material was dense, and she expected everyone to understand it as easily as her. Only take the class if you have a mind that can easily comprehend abstract ideas.

Comment:
Dr. Kay is a nice person. That being said, she is the poster child for the term "absent-minded professor."I don't think that she grades fairly, but rather gives A grades to the students who align with her beliefs and motivations. The material is interesting, but Dr. Kay's teaching style doesn't do it justice.I like Dr. Kay,but not her teaching style.

Boring, over ethical politically ocreect, not academic, exciting or passionate. Regardless of any interest, not a compelling method of teaching.

Judith is a great professor! In 'Heroes of Integrity' it was a very small class of about 10 students. You need to do the reading to discuss with others. She's a fairly easy grader and not too many papers. She is really nice.

Professor Kay was amazing! We all loved her. She is just an amazing human being. Everyone respected her so much and when we got together to study for her tests, we spent the whole time talking about something funny she'd done in class. She was great.
