Comment:
Mr. Nash knows most of his physics. He has been teaching physics for over 20+ years (maybe even 30+) but he is one of the worst teachers I had to ever deal with. He grades tremendously hard on tests and will complain about anything. There are no study guides to his test and will take put questions that you did not do in class on those tests.

People give Mr. Nash an incredibly hard time -- but he's a good man. Easily the toughest courses at Nash (both to teach and to learn), and despite what others will have you believe, Mr. Nash is fairly knowledgeable on physics.

I loved Mr Nash! He was a little eccentric, which some people didn't like, but I thought he was great! He's very knowledgeable about physics, but sometimes you have to ask him to slow down and explain. He will help you with your homework during office hours, but he won't do the work for you.

My favorite teacher in Nash Community College. Easy class if you pay attention and read your book. If you say otherwise, you're lazy and boring. - Diamond

Not the typical class that Nash Comm gives, but it is a university type of class you should expect after transferring out. Read the chapter before class, pay attention, take notes, and engage. Ask tons of questions to be successful, and always take advantage of doing homework in groups in his classroom.

Very intelligent, odd-humored man. He comes off brash, but he really grew on me. You must pay close attention & read the book faithfully. He doesn't provide study guides for tests, just oral 30-minute reviews (record them w/ your phone & study hard). The planetarium visits were very fun. I enjoyed this class & would take Mr. Nash again.

Great teacher, kinda strange, keeps class interesting but a very difficult class. If you ask a question he will answer it and help you with problems if you ask

I learned a lot, but it was a lot of work. He always reviewed before tests. You had to come to class, take notes on his lectures, and read the book to do well. Labs were fun.

Not a lot of explanation before beginning chapters. We just had to get it on our own & in the summer it was just so much homework with little time for real studying of the formulas. He's nice but crazy and probably just too advanced to teach such a simple class. (Simple to him but not so much to a student who's been out of school for 20+ years.)
