I have taken Kim Titus classes before, she is a great teacher. Problem is the accounting class got switched to a HORRIBLE program.. SOOO much homework that take 7 hours minimum to do! NO joke. I took this class with my husband, and we both struggle to get the work done that was required each week. So much work I did not have time to learn it. HARD!

I'm a UF student taking this course as transient. I have been blown away by this teacher. She is ALWAYS available and gives students her home phone number, weekends no problem. If only I had her for my accounting classes at UF. She is also very funny and makes you feel good about yourself.

I never thought I would get through this class because I am not an accounting major nor do I like numbers. Professor Titus made all the difference. She is the best teacher at the college. I have taken a dozen classes on-line and Titus is a star among teachers. She should teach the others how to run an on-line class. THE BEST!

Professor Titus is always available for help. Not only is she responsive, but is encouraging and provides all the resources to succeed. It's a difficult course, but it's the best one you'll find online at Daytona State.

Comment:

First off, accounting is not an easy subject nor is it fun for me. However, it's definitely a privilege to have Professor Titus teaching you. She replies quickly to all questions & will help you as much as you can. 13 exams, a financial project, & homework portfolio...do them. Kim Titus is a great teacher and one of Daytona State's precious gems.

This class got my financial life on track. I was forced to compose a financial plan with my husband and we had to face the truth. Awesome teacher. Follow the syllabus and she is available every day. I plan on taking her for all my business classes if she is a teacher for them. She answers email on the same day.

I took this class in a seven wk session. It pays to get the book and syllabus a head of time. Titus is the best. She sends reminders and her syllabus and course is totally organized. If you use the syllabus as a guide you will learn a lot and enjoy the course. So much good info in personal finance.

If you take ethics you need to take this teacher. Her class was so fun and there were debates that related to real life and real things in the business world. You do need the book and you do need to read the syllabus because what the syllabus says is exactly what you will need to know. EXCELLENT TEACHER and very funny too.

The professor for this class was the best I have ever taken because she gave us work that pertained to real life and helped me to figure out how to get out of debt. I wish she taught tax and finance that I have to take next semester. THANK YOU PROFESSOR KIM. You NEED to get the book and keep it for a reference book.

This class was extremely difficult but Professor Kim helped me every step of the way. You have to follow the syllabus and do the work but she is always available to answer questions. She is so intelligent but down to earth and lets you have her home number for help. I have already signed up for managerial with her in the spring. GREAT TEACHER!!

Class was only 7 weeks long yet I learned SO MUCH doing this my financial plan. The teacher was online seven days a week to help. This was my first on-line class and Professor Titus gave me her home phone number to call her on Saturday. She is patient, replies with lightening speed and her syllabus is posted before class starts.

I attend a state university and took this class to save money and commute time. I have never seen a teacher who is so dedicated. She is constantly sending out messages of encouragement and calls us back even on weekends. The other reviews are right, she is a computer garu and very pleasant and patient with our questions. I learned more in this class than any other class I have ever taken. I dreaded doing a financial plan but what an eye opener. This teacher recommended some very good books and tools for "building wealth". She is always online to help and replies almost immediately. Miss Titus, you are the best. I'll be taking her again in January.

I have had Ms. Titus for several different classes and I love her! She is very helpful and is easy to communicate with (all but one of my classes with her were online). I strongly recommend take as many classes as you can with her.
