Comment:

Bru is an energetic and engaging professor. I recommend taking this class during the summer where it is a smaller class setting and easier instruction, and very easy to contact during class. Really helpful to network in the profession. Look at textbook to study for quizzes on vocabulary and pictures. Do attend class everyday, it will be helpful!

Comment:

Bruya is very caring and a great person, just unorganized. He will say something at the beginning of class and then another at the end. Your best advice comes from your TA's. Be prepared to do some community service-- it's required. The tests are tricky because some are simple, and the next one will be difficult. Memorize the vocab in the book.

Brew is very passionate and knowledgeable. He has 3 paper assignments and you are allowed to rewrite them to get a total of 92% on each one. If you attend every class you get an extra point on your quizzes and if you get 80% or higher on each one you dont have to take the mid-terms/final. You do have to at least skim the book though.

Bru is an incredible prof who truly cares about his students. If you are a part of this major, then act like it. Come to class, do your work, and create a relationship and network with a man who knows how to help you in the profession. The only people who are having trouble with this course are those who are not acting like true college students

Bruya is a great guy, he just is not very well organized. I did not learn a lot in his class, but I did learn about professional writing and he took an interest in his students success. Pretty easy if you come to class. Take notes on the bold words in the textbook and his slides in class and you will get an A.

His quizzes are ridiculously hard to understand and he doesn't take into account the students that actually have other responsibilities like jobs when he makes you do the "gate" requirements.I stuied so hard for these 10 point quizzes (and consider myself a good test taker) and never got higher than a 6/10. He should retire.

He is relatable and funny. He makes the info real and understandable. Quizes are easy if you actually pay attention and the midterm rule is clever. Don't really understand why the gates requirement is about though

I would consider this the hardest class in the major. Either this class or Human Physiology. Your TA will become your best friend. Writing the final paper is so tedious and difficult, but it really exposes you to the demands of the profession. Bru really tries to get you where you need to be.

The course content of this class is a great introduction into the Movement Studies major. Bru is a very energetic teacher who gives his students multiple chances to succeed. This is the only class in the major where you get to rewrite your work to improve your grade. Take advantage of it!

Bruya is a high energy teacher who tends to use real life experiences that illustrate the material. This class is not only beneficial for students in the kinesiology degree but for first year college students. The way he designs his class and papers helps to teach students how to organize all the work. Favorite prof! Go Cougs!

Really good teacher when he actually teaches. he makes it really easy to understand the ideas. BUT!!! he probably has the worst class structure i have ever seen. you're required to write a big friggin paper in this class, which he talks about for the first 40 min. of class, then tries to cram as much lecture as possible as fast as possible.

You'll either love him or hate him. Tends to get distracted really easily, but you need to pay attention to everything he says because it'll show up on the quiz. Quizzes get progressively harder as the semester continues, and he doesn't type them and words the questions weird so it makes it somewhat difficult.

My favorite prof. Hi energy and crazy. Makes class fun. STUDY STUDY STUDY for the quizes. If you get 8 or better on all, you get out of the midterms, which are hard and require a lot of study time. Larry is awesome, as a person. As a professor he really knows the material but has a problem with tangents. He gets overly excited about abstracts and conferences. I didn't really learn much about developmental motor behavior, but i also could have read the book, i did learn that to get an A you have to think like him which is definitely a skill
