Worst teacher I have had at chapman. Very condescending, lectures are boring, and she is entirely unhelpful when I went to her office hours. AVOID!

I don't understand why so many students cut her down. She is one of the most fair professors I have ever had. She uses the book in her class heavily, so you have to read it. Maybe students get frustrated when they don't know many questions on the test because they don't read the book. She really cares about students and is a very sharp prof.

I have taken 2 courses with Dr. Pierson-Doti. ECON students don't listen to others GREAT TEACHER!. Show up, pay attention, and do your homework and you will get an A or B in the class. There are no free rides in her class but you will learn a lot and be able to apply your knowledge to the business world/other courses! GREAT TEACHER!

I swear she only teaches @ Chapman b/c she's Doti's wife. This woman is beyond strange. Pretty bad teacher...know's her stuff, but you really do all the learning on your own time.
