This is the WORST teacher on the face of the planet. I think she should be retired of his position in this fine institution of learning. He is curt, cruel, and immensely demeaning. No student should have to tolerate him. As an aspiring math professor, he has shown me all the poor qualities a teacher she not have. FIRE HIM!!!!!!

He is a pretty good teacher. His method for this class is a little different, and people have problems with that. But if you do the work and go to extra help if you need it, you will do well.

I thought he was a good teacher, and then i retook calc 1 and i was so wrong. He is an extremelly helpful professor but his tests are so hard. And his teaching tends to be a bit confusing.

His tests are hard but he grades on a curve... my average of about 64 ended up being a B in his course. He is a nice guy overall, but you need to work your butt off and stay on top of the material. When he shows you more then one way to do something and he tells you which one he prefers.. Learn that one first..every other example will be that way

If you can tolerate being treated like ignorant filth, you can pass without doing anything more than looking interested in what he is saying. Be prepared to be bored to death and abused during his office hours. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS UNLESS IT IS ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY!!

I think he is a great teacher. What everyone else is saying here is the truth--stay on top of the material, study and you will do well. He is willing to help. He tries to crack jokes and say funny things, and when he fails to do so, it makes it even funnier. You'll enjoy taking Calculus with this guy.

Hosseini is a really funny teacher. He teaches pretty well, but studying is still essential to pass. he knows what he's doing and he has a firm grip on the material. He's also really nice and fun to talk to.

Avoid this person. He is rude, disrespectful to the students, and shows very little concern for the students. Lectures are NOT clear, and if you go to him for help, BEWARE - he will NOT help - just tell you to do the work yourself and make you feel stupid.

He is a very smart man, but he needs to learn how to teach to his students. It is easy to fall behind in his class and his homework quizzes and test are hard. If he doesn't like how you did a problem, even if it is correct, he will subtract points willingly.

Nice guy, easy course, but you can fail without getting a SINGLE problem wrong. Takes off 10% if he doesn't like something as simple as your notation, for every instance of it. I've failed quizzes, without having a single error, aside from using arrows in some places instead of =.Simply unforgiving.

Hard to get used to, but understanding of probs. First test will seem hard, after that he knows what level students he has and eases up if the grades were bad on the first exam. Lectures cover alot of ground, so be sure to visit during offic hours if you don't understand anything.

Something about him reminds me of Sadaam Hussein. Take his class if you love unclarity, fast-paced teaching, and sudden short and rude remarks.
