Literally I wanted to cry every time coming into this class. Dont be fooled she chooses who she is nice too. She doesnt help you a lot. She makes you feel dumb sometimes when you ask for advice. Runnnn awayyyyyyy

Melissa Bell is very rude. If you ask her a question, she makes you feel dumb. She will tell you to go the arc instead of helping her students. She didn't seem like she cared at all, and she rushes through lectures. I wouldn't recommend this professor for her attitude, and how inconsiderate she is. Get ready for an entire day dedicated to homework!

She hates to move from her desk. Instead of helping you she will tell you to go see a tutor. She really asked like a rude math teacher who doesn't want to actually help her students. She rather you go to the arc and get help then to assist her own students. For someone who has been out of school for a decade this class did not help me at all.

Amazing professor, very nice and is willing to help whenever someone needs help. Since the class was mostly on Mymathlab she was very willing to come over and help me when I had a problem. She is very nice and very encouraging.

I've struggled with math but she made it easy to understand. Even if you didn't understand it during class time she will sit with you 1 on 1 in the ARC. There were a few times I wasn't able to complete the MML on time and she would extend the due date for me no problem. If your doing your best and trying she has no problem helping you.

Her 8 week accelerated class is disturbingly hard. Shes cramming 6 months of math into 8 weeks. Homework assignments for the week are over 200 math problems you have to show your work for every single one. You have an exam everyweek on top of the HW , math lab at the ARC, and a ton of HW on MathLabcom Would never take again.

I havent touched math since sophmore year in high school, and even then i was always a "D" student when it came to math. Never understood it, and always hated it. Never thought i would ever meet a teacher who explained math to where i actually enjoyed learning it. She hates when ppl are late 2 class. FYI i had 0018 & 0028. would take her all over.

Professor Bell is incredible. I have always been strong in math but being out of school a few years, I was a bit rusty. Ms Bell is very helpful and always willing to explain something if you're not 100% confident, without making you feel foolish for asking. I just wish she taught higher level classes!

Not many people like math. She is very very VERY helpful, though! Take her class, do the work and you will not only pass but LEARN the material. Final was easy, I thought the homeworks were harder than the final. Dont be afraid to ask questions, she will never make you feel stupid and will explain as many times as you need.

Fabulous teacher. One of the best I have ever had. Very clear and helpful. Runs the Arc building so is almost always available. Just a pleasure being in her class. I learned a lot. Would highly recommend her to anyone
