Dr. Bailey is such a kind man. He really cares about his students and about the subject he is teaching. His lectures can be a little dry some times, but the care he shows to his students more than makes up for it.

Comment:

Although Dr. Bailey was super nice, he didn't actually provide any valuable feedback, and his commentary was often scattered and inconsistent. Grading was extremely different from person to person and assignment to assignment, and didn't make any sense. Although he was nice, the class was boring and tough with his inconsistencies.

Dr. Bailey is a very nice professor and this class was helpful, but he gave a lot of assignments and papers which were sometimes graded harshly. Also, his lectures could be rather lengthy and dry at times.

Dr. Bailey is a super nice guy who truly wants you to succeed. He's a pretty easy grader, but his lectures can be kind of boring unless you're interested in what he is talking about.

Really good at teaching, but tests are pretty short compared to the amount of information you have to study. He will give you somewhat of a study guide but then most of it is not even on the tests. If you aren't interested in government it will most likely be challenging.

He is a great guy and really knows his stuff, and can be funny too if you appreciate dry humor. The exams are NO JOKE. You most definitely CAN pass with the material he gives you but you REALLY have to put a huge effort into studying for his exams.

Dr. Bailey is a nice man. He lectures a lot, and class was often boring. To understand what is going on in class, you HAVE to do the reading every day. I didn't, and I wasn't able to be engaged in class. He is a good professor, but his class requires work.

I had high expectations for Bailey and they definitely weren't met. He's sullen and talks too much, and I don't feel like I learned anything. His assignments are dumb and I started dreading going to his class. I've heard every other semester he does a good job, guess I didn't get lucky. His door is always closed, and he only helps some students.

Dr. Bailey is one of the most enjoyable professors I've had at Berry. He's interesting to talk to both in and out of the classroom, and on the first day of class I found out he has good taste in music. He's good at getting across the material, and he's almost like having a drier, wittier, less-pretentious version of Jay Leno teaching the class.

Dr. Bailey is a phenomenal professor. He made the subject matter very interesting. The class turned more into a philosophy based course, and included lots of discussion. The class definitely isn't a breeze, but it is worth the work you will put in. Take Dr. Bailey!! The best professor I've had at Berry.

Dr. Baily loves to make jokes in class. He's very entertaining and keeps you paying attention in the lecture. He likes to get the class involved in his examples. On his papers, however, he does not grade as much on whether or not you understand the material, but on whether or not you use certain words that he is looking for.

GREAT professor. Keeps you on your toes in class because his humor is so quick that you have to be awake to catch it. Very funny guy. Nice and easy to talk to. Tests are average. When he lectures without a powerpoint, it's probably going to be an essay later, so take notes!

Probably the best history teacher I've ever had in my entire life. I LOVE this man! I didn't get the best grade of my life in his class, but that was due to my own slacking off. He is willing to work with students, breaks things down and does everything he can to ensure students learn and gain everything they possibly can from the course.

Awesome professor! I had him for BCC and Gov 211 and he was always really funny and he'll keep you awake during his class! If you have a chance to take one of his classes you should! His gov class was really interesting and focused on the election and the constitution! Dr. Bailey rocks!!

Dr. Bailey is not only an outstanding teacher, but is also absolutely hilarious. I would take any class with him just for the comic value. His honors class was hard but extremely rewarding.
