I should have dropped the class after the first day, but she feigned being a good teacher until it was too late to drop classes. She has this condescending air about her that gets to be too much after the first week. She is hard to please. DON'T TAKE HER CLASS.

she is terrible- the worst it got was when she destroys robert frost's "the road not taken" ...she slaughters the symbolism in this beautiful piece of literature- DON'T TAKE HER!

At first I did not like her at all, but after I went and met with her outside of class I found her very helpful. She will talk down to you in class and repeatedly ask you questions if you answer one wrong so read the material assigned. She grades essays very tough so be ready for that.

Batcos has a very stale opinion on everything, and no one is allowed to disagree. She conditions your essay responses to say what she wants them to say, even though it begins as a very broad topic. There's only one good thing about her -- sometimes she brings in food, cuz she's greek.

She is not a professor. She is playing teacher. She ridiculously loves to humiliate innocent people in class and give bad grades. You are lucky to get a B in that class even if you consistently change your writing to how she wants it.

I agree that she's hard but I thought she was very fair. Just because she cares about making students better writers doesn't make her a bad teacher. Take her class if you want to be challenged. An A in her class is not impossible!(and I'm a science major)
