Dr. Papazian is awesome!! If you have the chance to take PHI152 for a foundations credit, do it! It's a really straightforward, pretty easy class, and it's really interesting! There are no papers, just 6 quizzes (lowest grade dropped) and 4 tests. Dr. P is super funny and really kind and made for an overall positive experience/class!

Dr. Papazian was always so helpful in and outside of class. As long as you do the extra credits and study the study guides, you will do great! He is always willing to help you before a test.

Dr. Papazian is great. I made the mistake in sitting in the back which made it hard to concentrate. Make sure you do the extra credit because it does help at the end. I got a D and C- on the exams and still made a B+ in the class. Make sure study and do the study guides they really help.

Dr. Papazian is a charming guy. This is a good gen-ed to take if you're an Honors student. He's a pretty easy grader on papers, and his testes are very manageable if you complete the study guide and read over it a few times. You will learn much about ancient Greek philosophy. It's a fun class to make you think a little. Do your readings!

Papazian is an eccentric professor, but what else would you expect from Philosophy? To some the lectures will be interesting, and others it will be dry. Regardless of interest in the course material, you should be able to get a good grade in this Gen-Ed if you study the guides he gives before each test.

Super easy and loves what he teaches. Really nice--gives out study guides and will move deadlines if you ask him. Also gives practice tests which often are almost identical to the real tests. TAKE HIM.

Dr. Papazian is very animated and interactive in class, and he keeps things quite interesting. He might be one of the most knowledgeable, intelligent people I've met. He's basically audited the entire math major at Berry, in addition to his PhD. He has a philosophy club and is involved with students a lot outside of class.

Very passionate about teaching. Office hours are fun. Idiosyncratic but very clear communicator. Lectures always go too slowly and can get boring, but if you pay attention you are guaranteed to understand. Doesn't rely heavily on textbook. If you get a bad grade it's your fault. Best straight philosophy professor ATM.

An excellent teacher and an excellent man. Super available and kind. Can be hilarious in class, and also insightful. I'm proud to say I was not only his student, I am also his friend. (Not sure if he's proud of that :-) even if he likely is a closet Communist.

Papazian is overall a good teacher. His class was interesting, but if you enjoy taking part in a debate, don't take him. What this class boiled down to was repeating what he said in your own words. He does raise interesting points though. He pulls a lot from the books, so be sure to read!

Class is difficult and he make it very boring. The tests are difficult especially the exam I would have gotten a B before the exam now I got a C. The papers are not too difficult you have to write 6 1-page papers so its not that difficult and he grade that pretty easy. But i would not really recommend that class.

Loved the class, loved the man. He is an AMAZING person, in and out of class. He is eager, and genuinely interested in your learning. His classes are not extremely easy, but they are not very hard either. Papazian has a great love of teaching, and is overwhelmingly passionate in the subject, and his exuberance will excite all. Take him!

He is amazing. He leads great in depth discussions and is great about never showing a bias to one side so that the class feels free to debate without fear of being criticized for their thoughts.

Worse class i have ever had at berry college. My only D here and its because of his very strict grading style. None of the stuff makes sense, and none of this stuff will ever be used in real life.
