This is an EXTREMELY hard class. I recommend not taking him. I was able to get a C out of his class. Failed all of his exams except for the last two. KEY TERMS WILL KILL YOU OR HELP YOUR GRADE. Luckily I got an A in that section. Goes directly from the book. Expect to do 7 or 8 pages for each chapter. Attendance is a must!!

Attenedance is a must, he has a strict curricukum but if you pay attention and get your homework in on time you will do well. For each hour in the classroom there is 2 hours of homework.

He is a good teacher and you will learn a lot....if you manage to stay awake. He's boring and tests are very hard. he grades on a curve which can hurt you a lot. I'd recommend his class but not a 7am.

I wouldn't take this class unless you need it. Definitely not an "easy A" I basically rewrote every chapter that we covered in my notes, spent hours studying, and stressed over his tests all quarter. He lets you use any and all notes for everything though, which is wonderful! He is a very passionate and great teacher though!

This class was great, but stressful. The key terms are what can hurt you, but you can get an easy "A" in this class if you apply yourself and read the book and know the material. Mike is a great instructor. I loved him!

This class is very easy. He re-uses chapter notes for every term. Find a friend who took the class prior and you are good to go. The tests are decent. You can get an A in his class if you avg B- on the tests.

His tests are a killer and unless you get 100% on the overall key terms grade then it's hurt. He grades on a curve to where if you miss on your grade drops dramatically. Lectures are boring and he makes you read weekly. I don't recommend him.

mike is a great teacher becuase he obviously enjoys history and knows everything about the subject. his class can be hard if you dont pay attention to his lectures(which are everyday). he gets off subject sometimes but its cool becuase youll learn something that you didnt expect too. TAKE THIS CLASS! its great.

The key terms can really get you if you do them last minute. But the class is pretty fun and the teacher is a nice guy. He seems like a history almanac or something. He has everything off the top of his head and lectures the whole class. His test were very hard but if you read the book then you should be set. I never read any and still passed.

The quizzes he gives are easy if you do the reading, but his tests aren't really the easiest. Reading the material helps, but if not good luck. And he grades really weird... but not in a good way.

Mike definately knows his stuff, but unless you like history this class can be pretty boring. Tests are worded a little funny which can make them hard. Not very difficult class to pass if you do the key terms and study for the tests.

Murray is a sweet guy but hard of hearing & yells a lot. He & His class are very boring. The class is a huge challenge. I'd recommend having a tape recorder & take lots of notes& do all your homework. Don't feel overwhelmed. The homework DOES take time. Grades based on quizzes & tests. I HATED HIS CLASS he was unclear weird unfair and unneccecarily hard i cannot just sit in a class and listen to some guy ramble on about history it is so boring and if you dont listen you fail your tests which are basically your whole grade DO NOT TAKE HIM you will regret it...i loved history now not so much basically this class was awful

Mike is a really good teacher! The class has pretty hard tests but he gives you plenty of opportunities to do well and improve. He even lets you drop a few of your lowest assignments. Read the book a lot! This was a great class!

He is overall, a pretty good professor. I took his 7am class, and near the end of the quater, he brought us donuts! yum. His tests are, in my opinion, rather hard. I could only manage to get a B-. There are weekly "Key words" (10 total) each containg 30-40 words. I learned a lot through his class.

I took this class at 7 in the morning which is when he usually teaches! NEVER TAKE IT at this time! He's very boring and his test are pretty hard.
