Comment:

She makes a class that is supposed to be not that difficult, one of the hardest. This professor is horrible and rude. She has the highest expectations and thinks everyone is a genius and will tell you her 3rd grade son can do better than you and that he does every lab perfectly, even when you're trying your hardest. Doesn't care for effort.

Great teacher! She not only helped in her class but took her time to help us all for our lecture class because the teacher was absolutely horrible.

She was very good about emailing back. Did things a little confusing sometimes. New Lab and new curriculum, so understand that kinks needed to be worked out and she handled those issues well. Made lab fun with some presentations and very enthusiastic.

She seems to expect far too much from students. The majority of the course is to be learned independently, with her lecture being supplemental at best. I would not go into her class without a strong base in chemistry.

Wilhelm seems to care about her students. However, she expects most of the course material to be learned before each class, with her instruction being "supplemental". I can easily say I've never put so much effort into a class that resulted in such a low grade. If you are not experienced in chemistry, avoid this instructor.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. She is really rude to students in lecture, and doesn't actually explain anything in lecture. She expects you to learn everything yourself using the textbook and online homework and then know everything when you come in for lecture.

I enjoyed having Monique as a teacher in this lab. I felt that she was helpful. She responds to emails quickly. She's always willing to help. There is a quite a bit of work but it's expected. She explained the experiments thoroughly and did some cool demos.

Claimed she gave her child the lab manual and he/she passed it with a B. Demanded a lot of work that was repetitive. Basically called me stupid. Worse teacher I've had in my life. Avoid taking her at all costs!

The workload for this class was way out of line for 1 credit. The notebooks are ridiculous, expect to get lots of points off if you have bad handwriting or if you don't structure it 100% perfectly.

I still can't get over the amount of repetitive work she required for this 1 credit class. She is helpful, but this work took away from more relevant matters like chem 260 where there is a ****ulative final after 262 is completed. Tries to make way more of this than necessary!!
