She made me buy a $100 text book we never opened and I can't even sell it because of how outdated it is! She gave me a C in music when my two journals were amazing compared to others in the class. She's ridiculous.

She is my MOST favorite professor in my college career. She was extremely helpful to me and was very honest in her opinion, if she feels you suck, basically because you do. I feel she is a very stereotypical professor who likes you or hates you! I recommend her to anyone and everyone. I took two of her classes just for fun!

If she likes you, you will probably do fine. I enjoyed this class simply because of the people that were in it, not her. My best advice is to show her your skits before you actually perform them so that you know if she's going to fail you or not. Also, if she tells you to change something in your skit, it's probably best to do that.

Worst professor in my college career. One day she bumped a midterm up an hour via email, which I did not receive, and ridiculed me in front of the entire class and threatened to fail me. I ended up taking the test in 20 minutes sans book (It was an hour long w/book for everyone else) and received the highest grade in the class. Wasn't she surprised

Took this as an "easy A" online summer class and got a C! 100% on my first journal and a 50% on the second one that was exactly the same!!! This woman has more personalities than anyone I know! Called her to get my grade changed 2 months ago and she still hasn't looked into it! She's a joke!

Her love for the arts is obvious, but that is not what makes a good instructor. She often comes off rude and her mood makes or breaks the class. She is not open to different interpretations. Attendance and participation comprise a great percentage of your grade.

Dr. Funk is an easy teacher unless she dislikes you (conservative, male, or optimistic). The class itself is not hard but Dr. Funk is hard to follow at times and is easily upset by the smallest thing. She often confuses theatre with politics.
