Be prepared to study and pay serious attention. Dr. Cordo has a way of speaking that really sticks with you. I learned a ton in this course, which made macro and micro A LOT easier. For me, this is course from which all others were judged. Do not be afraid show up during his office hours. The tests are no joke! Make sure you study, "bigly!"

I went to his office because I was really confused. He made me cry and was not at all sorry and almost mad that I cried. He told me that he didn't understand why I was having mental health problems. And when I went back later to drop he said it was premature and should take the exam first. He had to curve that exam by 40%. Never taking him again.

Professor Cordo is a great professor, who truly has a passion for his work. He provides a thorough syllabus with his expectations and schedule for when all work is due and when tests will be. He provides power points on BB and lectures in order of it. He provides study guides, but his test are still tough. Make sure to ask questions!

Dr. Cordo is passionate about what he does, he learns everyones name and is very reasonable. He is a very nice guy and always wants the best for his students. He puts all of the "textbook" material online so you absolutely DO NOT need a book for this course. He makes the material as easy as he can to learn is always accessible for help after class.

A great professor - really funny and nice. However, his tests are pretty difficult. He is always willing to meet outside of class to help you, though, which was very nice. Respects his students and all around great guy. Just a tough course.

This class is much easier if you've taken micro or macro econ or are a business major. The teacher does his best to make class interesting and is pretty funny and be ready to be called on at any time because he does tend to pick on people. If you pay attention in class and take notes an A is attainable. There is also a decent amount of homework.

Tests are very hard and the questions are set up to trick you. He always asks if anyone has questions but then acts annoyed if someone does. He's very nice and really enjoys econ, but I did not like his class.

Great lectures and fairly easy class. Although, he did get kind of preachy at times and definitely gives political commentary. Not really a big fan of that in the classroom. Overall good teacher!

Although not mandatory, attendance is a must since there is no textbook and most of the test/quiz material comes from his lectures. I struggled in this class but Dr. Cordo met with me countless times outside of class to address any questions I had. You will have to do a good amount of reading and hard work if you really want an A.

Cordo has to be the best Econ professor at USI. His class can be difficult but he overall is passionate and knows what he is teaching. Weekly quizzes but as long as you attend class and read the weekly readings you will pass them easy. Test can be alittle difficult, sadly that's what is the killer for my grade but he does give generous curves.

He is pretty smart, and he knows it. It's not a bad thing, but he speaks like every word that comes out of his mouth is revolutionary. He is nice, but gets frustrated if his students perform poorly on his tests. The subject is pretty boring, but he finds ways to incorporate humor at times. There are much worse professors you can take.

Cordo is an extremely tough grader. There is a quiz every Friday and they are very difficult. I read all the online material and still did poorly every week. He treats students like they are stupid and makes fun of how no one ever understands the material. He asks questions on tests that we never went over. It's as if he wants you to fail.
