Comment:

I took geology lecture and lab online for summer school, and Professor Camilleri made this class so easy. She had very thorough lab explanations, and I never needed to ask for more information on how to do the lab. I would absolutely take this class again!

Comment:

The test in her class hardly ever match the notes. To past, you must be focused in her class at all times. Things that would help: ask questions, take GOOD NOTES!, and do not miss class. I also would note that the change from in-class to online made the class a bit easier. *my personal opinions*

She gives you all the resources to pass this class and makes it enjoyable to learn. Helps you understand concepts before moving on, moves quickly so dont miss class. Reading the textbook does help with understanding her lectures a little better.

Comment:

I personally struggled in the class at the beginning but in the end, I made a B and got a 94 on my final exam. Make sure that you pay attention I was not a fan of the class but the material she tests over she talks about even if it is for a brief moment even the smallest thing that you feel is irrelevant could be used on the tests. DO THE QUIZZES!

Huge lecture halls are not best for her. She is difficult to hear. Knows her stuff, but generally difficult to access due to the amount of students.

This class was a lecture hall of 75 students. Camilleri is soft spoken but knows a lot about her subject. It was immensely difficult to hear her. The lectures were boring. Tests were hard. She doesn't take role nor give extra credit.

Easy A! Print notes from d2l, go to class & get the blanks filled. Everything on the test is in your notes, it just requires you to study. She drops your lowest test grade. She's always there to help. Loved her course! The ones who say she's tough are the ones who didn't go to class & thought they could take their own notes. You don't need the book

Class is pretty tough. She doesn't take attendance but the power points are blank so to fill them out you must come to class. There are online quizzes you can take as many times as you want throughout the lessons. Tests are hard so study.

Manageable if you show up and do the work. She gives you blank powerpoint slides so the note taking is very minimal. Just be sure to study for the tests and you should be fine. This is definitely the easiest science credit you can receive. If you try hard and give effort you can make an A or B. Just make sure you go to class. Not an easy A though

She doesnt take attendance, but there are blanks in the power points online so if you dont come then you don't get the notes. She gives you an online quiz for almost every chapter with unlimited time and unlimited attempts which help you a lot with the tests. Her tests are easy as long as you look over your notes. Only 4 tests and she drops lowest.

Pretty dull, but she has her moments. Read read read your book, lots of questions from book in the tests. Never any homework. Just pay attention or read your book.

Great person! I did not like her teaching style. If you zone out for one minute you will get lost. She gives quizzes with unlimited chances. She also drops your test grade.

It was a pleasure to have her class! Sometimes I'd get bored but I can tell she really tries to make Geology fun and interesting. If you show up to class and print off the lecture notes and follow along with her, this class is an easy A.

Professor Camilleri took a subject I didn't care about and made it interesting! Very hands-on style learning & willing to help if you're struggling. If you're a visual learner, this is a great lab for you to take. If you pay attention in class , you'll do great! There are often open labs during the week if you need additional help.

Camilleri is great. There are quizzes that are due before test day which really help you study the material on the exams. I didn't bother buying the textbook, but I made sure I went to lecture because her notes that get posted on D2L are not filled in.

Not a bad professor but she wants you to be prepared at all times. Being present for lectures isn't necessary as long as you have someone in her class that will give you their slides to look at. Tests weren't too tough, study the slides, easy A.

Dr. Cailleri is a fantastic teacher and does her best to keep her students interested. You will learn a lot in this class! The online quizzes are very helpful and taking them multiple times and then reading in the book what you don't understand is the key to passing her tests! Take the notes in class to answer the quizzes and you will do just fine

I really enjoyed Dr. Camilleri's class. I had her for both lecture and lab, and she's really nice and easy. For lecture, print out the D2L packets and show up to class to fill them in. It's really simple, and I would definitely take her again!! P.S. Don't buy the textbook; you don't need it AT ALL.
