Comment:

I went into this class overwhelmed by the amount of reading this class required; three textbooks, all written by Skrabec himself. while the reading is extremely dry, I actually enjoyed this class and retained quite a bit of information. Skrabec himself is an amazing professor. He actually cares about his students and gives credit where due.

This professor requires 3 books for this class (which I took online). He wrote all of them; which in itself makes no sense at all. The material is the most dry, inapplicable, resource for the class ever.

Comment:

The fact that this guy is actually "teaching" a class shows what is wrong with higher education. Mind you I got an A in the class. This is nothing but a guy who is set in his archaic ways teaching you about things that can be forgotten within seconds after turning in the test. This is my cry to end tenure, its ruining American higher education.

Prof has written and published 20 or more books on the subject and is a foremost expert in his field. An abundance of knowledge and I enjoyed the class.

He is a funny guy. He is more than willing to help his students in getting good grades. Additionally, his classes allow students to receive Six Sigma certificates. Def. a bonus when searching for a job!

Comment:

Very entertaining professor. He knows what he is talking about and gives good examples. Good videos in class. The one thing i dislike is he lectures about one thing, then tests you over something completely different. The text book doesn't go along with lectures, so it's almost like taking two classes. Still an easy A though.

Professor is enthusiastic about his subject matter but a better scholar than a teacher, although he is responsive to students who ask for help. Course material is not confusing but is presented in a disorganized and confusing way as the text frequently veers off topic.

Only grades in the class were take home, short answer assignments. Usual paper was 2 questions on current topics discussed in class. Test paper (take home) were 4-5 with the same type of questions. probably 10 papers total. He also is very disorganized but an alright professor

operations mgmt in undergraduate and master's classes... all took w/ him. boring teacher but easy. tests are easy and there hardly is any h/w ever. if you want an easy A, take him. he's also known to leave the classroom during tests

Apparently he has a PHD. Could have fooled me. His class is easy, but don't ask questions he doesn't like that because he doesn't know how to answer them. He teaches you about computers, but never uses them. You can sleep through his class.
