Very precise about how homework and labs are done. He is not very helpful if you have questions, and he frequently embarrasses students in from of the class. He goes off into tangents during lectures; however, they help you remember the material and can be interesting. Come to class, read the book diligently and you might pass.

This professor is not THAT bad. You do need to study and read the book. The book is probably your best friend for getting a good grade on the tests. You will loose points in lab and on hw for silly things like, scribbling out words and not skipping lines. So, be professional and it will help your grade!

He is a horrible teacher, plain and simple. Arbitrary grading, mean, and pious. DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER NO MATTER HOW BAD YOU NEED CHEM. 100. Find a different professor at all costs. I am SERIOUS! Do not think that I am just a lazy student! I just don't want you to suffer!

Want to see awful teaching? If you have questions, his answer may just be "DUH!" He simply makes a powerpoint of the ENTIRE book and goes over it in class. He does not review the tests or hw. Very anal and unreasonable. good luck.

He was an ok professor overall, but would go off on these tangents and re-teach us things two and three times and was very dis-organized! Appearance wise he was the stereotype of a wacky scientist!!!!!!

I was in his lecture and he was okay, although I felt like I could learn the same information from reading the text book. He is constantly putting his "political commentary" into his lectures that don't have anything to do with Chemistry. He will help you as long as you accomodate his schedule. I got a B in his class

I took the lab for chem with Frigo and the lec with Bermelin and the only reason I passed chem was because of Frigo. The class is a bit boring, but he's a good teacher- helpful and nice. The homework is kinda hard but he goes through it every week before the lab.

Class can be boring, but hes got jokes. He repeats his stories ALL THE TIME, but he is a really nice guy. You have to really work for your grade though. One test was all true or false, but the questions definatly challenge you. Dont take this class if you arent willing to put in the time.

Chem lab with Frigo is pretty easy, he can be pretty funny sometimes. He trys to teach you about the lab before your start and its all garbage, dont listen to it unless he says its going to be on a test or something. Pretty cool guy
