Senior full professor dr Titus sir is quite an interesting lad. He piles the children in his class into his van every class period, and teaches us about the Catskills!

Makes you work for your grade which I think is a good thing. Good note taking skills is a must! Good at answering your questions. His lectures are very inspirational!

Comment:

Took a class with him for a freshman seminar. Learned a ton, and but was a difficult class/grader. Class and professor demeanor are an experience, often could tell what he had for lunch by what was dribbled on his shirt, beard, and the stains on your graded paper. He's an extremely intelligent man, very eccentric, but overall very interesting

I could barely understand what he wrote or spoke half the time. He was very arrogant and seemed to be stuck in the past. You have to take extremely good notes, to his standards, to pass. If you miss a class or lab, expect your grade to go down a good amount with no opportunity to make it up.

Comment:

Loved historical geology. He is a hard ass and a tough grader but I learned so much from him. He's not afraid to tell it like it is but he has his lighter moments. He's not very creative with his lectures but take good notes and pay attention and you'll do great. Really tries to help and is willing to look over tests if you think it's mis-graded.

I heard a rumor that Titus was teaching outdated material (read: not correct since the 1960s) from geology majors, but didn't believe it until I experienced it for myself. He's very entertaining in class, if you study your notes you do well on the tests. No need to read your textbook.

Titus is pretentious, very hard unfair grader, you can display clear complete knowledge of something and receive a bad grade because he will be looking for some key term or point, not full understanding of a concept

Titus does not know what he is talking about. I took two Geology classes last semester; the one with Titus was confusing, while the one with a different professor was easy, simply because Titus doesn't understand the things he is trying to teach. He looks/acts like a mountain man. Very eccentric and pretentious. I don't recommend him at all.

Geomorphology. He knows his stuff, but doesn't teach it creatively. Everything is created into bulleted lists. The exams are fairly easy if you study the lists and read the questions carefully. Just tell him to slow down, he will listen!

He grades the kind of notes you take. It's ridiculous. He's humorous in class, but a hard ass on grading. He doesn't give many good grades because he doesn't believe in "Boosting self esteem wtih grades". He's an oldschool hardass, but knowledgeable. His tests are ridiculously hard but he can teach.
