Dr Ediger is such a bubbly and kind character! Classes are pretty chill, but she doesn't really lecture... most of class is just discussion which I don't personally prefer because it's like youre teaching yourself.... anyways, shes really nice and has a great personality!!

Comment:

I am in her UCOR class right now and I love her, but the workload can feel like a bit much. She gives us a lot of work, but it's because she really wants her students to come out more cultured. Her class is definitely not easy but it is manageable. Kinda annoyed it's so much work, but it's impossible to be mad at her bc her heart is pure gold.

I'm a Poly Sci major, and please please take Dr. Ediger if you plan on majoring in Poly Sci. She has 20+ years of teaching so she knows what she's doing. Her classes have been the most informational and fun classes I've ever taken at SPU. She's also very intelligent and wants her students to work hard. One of the best Profs at SPU without a doubt,

I actually really liked her and I'm the type of person that likes to skate by without any work involved. There is quite a bit of work, but grading wise it is easy to get an A, she gives many grade inflators. Geo quizzes every monday, and In class assignments that you must read the text for. If you are looking for a UCOR that has 0 work, not for you

Professor Ediger is amazing! The class is definitely not easy, but her teaching style definitely helps you actually retain the information. Her lectures are super engaging and she's really passionate and animated. She never makes you feel stupid if you get something wrong, and she's incredibly caring and supportive.

One of the harshest classes i have ever taken but she made it so enjoyable and engaging. She is hilarious and her lectures ROCK! I thought introduction meant beginner but not with this course. It should have a prerequisite and it moves fast so stay on your toes and ask for help. She is more than happy to assist you. Not a class you can skip out on.

She's very excited about the class - its contagious, even for the sleepy, paper-presentation-daily-review-weary students who take this class. Took this for my history gened my last quarter at SPU. It's a W class obviously, but if you like history, you can really get a lot out of it. Challenging, but ultimately a great learning experience.

Take Ediger for uCOR 2000. She makes it easy but you LEARN sooo much (only 5 people in the class had to take the final). 8am sounds rough, but she makes it fun. you won't regret taking her, esp. if you're NOT a poli sci major.

definitely one of the best professors at SPU, also one of the hardest (isn't that usually the case). Her tests are difficult as you need to be very thorough on your answers, but if you can manage 100's on her homework and quizzes (very easy) you will get an A in the class.

Dr. Ediger is a wonderful professor. She is passionate about what she teaches and she makes it interesting. She definitely kept me awake at 8am. The class was difficult, lots of reading, but it is all very doable if you stay on top of the readings and STUDY for the tests (they're no joke).

I was just a History major until talking with Dr. Ediger about Political Science. Her passion for geogrpahy and the world around us convinced me to double-major, and now I am teacher passing on that passion for knowing the world we live in. And yes, I even give them geography quizzes where they have to know countries and capitals.=)

Dr. Ediger is the best professor that I have taken at SPU. Her class is well organized, and she works hard to make sure that students receive a well rounded understanding of the subject.
