All you have to do is the work. I took her course during the Fall and yes it was a lot but with perseverance and communication you can pass this course. Make sure to be on top of all your assignments and you'll survive

Comment:

This was one of the worst courses that I've ever taken at BC. This was supposed to be a 6 week course, we basically finished in 4-5 weeks. I'm okay with speed but I feel like she failed to understand that people have work and a family. She would assign 12 assignments in one week; 4 quizzes, 4 discussions, 4 dumb summaries. DO NOT TAKE HER

Comment:

For an art class, this teacher assigned way too much homework/assignments. She also graded discussions and other things harshly, but she does give good feedback as to why you received the grade you got. The most tedious part of the class was the 5-7 paragraph summaries that followed every lesson. Quizzes were easy if you just read the short lessons

Comment:

Professor Casey was easily accessible during the entire course. It was a fast paced class, but not unmanageable. She provides excellent feedback on your work, which actually helped me to improve each time I turned in an assignment. She gave opportunities to improve your grades. It's up to you to take advantage of those. I learned a lot!

I loved taking her class. She gives such great feedback. Her due dates are on Fridays which is fine but not really good for people who work full-time and has kids but I did it you just need to stay on top of things. I would take her again!

Course directions were vague at best with little direction to exactly what was required. Assignments required the summary of an essay. What she wanted the students to analyze was not noted. She had specific items in mind that she wanted covered, but there was never direction as to what those items were. The grading was far too harsh.

Prof. Casey is extremely vague when giving instructions & feedback. She expects too much from students in a non-art major class. Also, she did allow me to make up an assignment that I received a 0 for because she had troubling viewing it.(slow grader) Her tests are straight from the notes. She is hard to reach during her "available" office hours.

Prof. Casey is the type of professor that will let you resubmit an assignment if it is done incorrectly. She will explain what youve done wrong but before you do it she doesnt explain what has to be done; it seems like she just says do it with no clear instructions. I took her online, you would think she would explain a little better.

For the most part the online class was pretty easy. However a few assignments did not make clear sense and when asking the professor to clarify I was referred back to my syllabus (it didn't make sense in the first place.) Lots of reading and writing for an Art Class. All the work must be completed.

This teacher does not work with students AT ALL! Took an online course with her and she only opens assignments the week they are due and OVERLOADS you with work. She makes you summarize readings and then gives you zeros for not having original ideas. All around she was awful! Avoid this professor!!

Highly unprofessional and doesn't know how to teach. It's an easy A but you have to teach everything to yourself, she never specifies assignments or what is expected and lacks grammar skills, I don't think she's too smart either.

I took Professor Casey's course as my 1st class in college. She is absolutely amazing. The work is simple and clear cut. If you have any questions, she's really great at getting back to you. She helps you whenever you need the help. And allows for makeup, IF you advise her on time. Only met virtually but she IS definitely a teacher you want!!

She's a great professor. took her online, her class is based on summarizing different art photo, portraits or paintings. Her class is easy to me, just be ready to read and summarize that's it. No finals or midterms, only weekly tests, which are pretty easy.

Professor Casey is well organized, clear and professional. Give her great respect and you will get respect 10-fold! Writing assignments, tests and discussions are critical, so make sure you read the syllabus and deadline dates! I wished she taught my future courses!

Took this lady for a summer course. She had one or two assignments a week along with a test, then 6 assignments all due within a three day period. To top it off, they were only opened 2 days before they were due. She gives these keywords to put into your essays. She actually deducts points if you don't use the exact keyword. Absolutely horribad.
