Comment:

Dr. Knight is a very difficult professor. However, with hard work and persistent studying, an A is possible in her classes. She provides an enormous amount of knowledge, but only tests on select topics. For her classes, you pretty much need to know everything. She has powerpoints that she reviews, but a lot of her lectures are just her talking.

Let me tell you, Dr. Knight was, is, and forever will be the most difficult professor Ive ever had. She knows so much about the topic, I dont doubt her intelligence when It comes to the subjects she teaches. But she definitely has a problem when it comes to dumbing it down for students. If youre not studying 10 hours a week, you wont do well.

Dr. Knight is great! She is passionate and very knowledgeable about economics. I previously had her for Micro and am now in her Public Finance class. While her tests are hard, you'll be fine as long as you study and do the homework. Highly recommend this professor..

I took this class online for my MBA, and she was very poor at replaying to email concerning class assignments and grades. Part of your overall grade was participation (syllabus states was based on course log-ins). I was logged into the course almost everyday of the class & still received a 60 in class participation which brought my overall grade-B

While Dr. Knight knows her stuff concerning Economics, she does not do a great job coming down to the student's level. She has a perpetual attitude of arrogance or anger that makes her rather unsettling as a teacher. As long as you study, you will be in good shape, but it will take some time.

Hardest class I have taken. Extremely rough to take but knows the material greatly. Well educated lady but does not know how to dumb it down for lower level.

She obviously knows what she is talking about with every aspect of the subject. The problem, though, is that she is not very good at sharing her knowledge with students. She has a strong expectation for students to do heavy studying of the text outside of class, which shows in her tests as she asks questions about material not covered in class.

She seems to be very smart about economics. Her tests can be really hard, though. I had to study all the time to do well. Most in my class did poor on the tests; she is usually good about curves. She spends the entire class time just lecturing, which at times was quite dull.
